A preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as a powerful symbol of the destruction caused by nuclear weapons.
A deeply moving museum sharing the devastating impact of the atomic bomb and Hiroshima’s call for peace.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is located in the heart of Hiroshima, near the epicenter of the atomic bomb dropped on August 6, 1945. The park was established to remember the victims of the bombing and to promote peace.
The Fukuromachi Elementary School Peace Museum is located in Hiroshima, Japan, just a few hundred meters from the hypocenter of the atomic bomb dropped on August 6, 1945. The school building, constructed in 1937, survived the blast and now serves as a powerful reminder of the tragedy of nuclear warfare.
The Bank of Japan Hiroshima Branch is a historic building that survived the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. Located close to the hypocenter, the building was heavily damaged but remained standing. It was one of the few reinforced concrete buildings to survive the blast. After the bombing, it was used as a temporary emergency shelter and played a role in Hiroshima’s recovery. Today, it stands as a symbol of resilience and is recognized as a hibaku building (atomic-bombed building).
The Assumption of Mary Cathedral, also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Cathedral, is the main Catholic church in Hiroshima. It was built after World War II as a symbol of peace and reconciliation. The cathedral was designed by Japanese architect Togo Murano and completed in 1954. It was funded by donations from Catholics around the world, especially from Germany. The church stands near the center of Hiroshima, not far from the atomic bomb’s hypocenter, and serves as a place of prayer, reflection, and remembrance.
A beautifully restored Japanese garden originally designed for feudal lords, known for seasonal beauty and surviving A-bomb trees.
A reconstructed feudal castle originally built by Mori Terumoto, now housing a museum on Hiroshima’s samurai-era history.

Exploring Hiroshima with an Amazing Guide Marin :)
We had a wonderful time exploring Hiroshima with Marin! She is super friendly, and shared stories that really brought the city’s history and culture to life. The tour was well organized and we visited some truly meaningful places while learning so much along the way. Thank you for making our visit to Hiroshima such a memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Marin is a gem, another unforgettable day!
After such an incredible experience the first time, I just had to join Marin for another tour. We explored the stunning Shukkeien Garden and Hiroshima Castle, and once again, Marin exceeded every expectation. What makes Marin so special is her ability to tailor the atmosphere to the setting and her unique energy. In the serene Shukkeien Garden, she shared fascinating insights into the 'miniature landscapes' with such poise, allowing us to truly soak in the tranquility. At Hiroshima Castle, she brought the samurai history to life with her trademark sharp intellect and vibrant storytelling. Even after another half day, her energy remained infectious. She has this rare gift of making history feel personal and present, never like a dry lecture. Wabi-Sabi! Sharing this experience in a smaller group felt like exploring the city with a deeply knowledgeable friend. If you are in Hiroshima, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Marin. Whether it's the heavy history of the memorials or the cultural beauty of the gardens, she makes every hour feel like a highlight of your trip. I’d join her for a third tour tomorrow if I could!
