The Whitechapel murders, one of the world’s greatest unsolved mysteries, took place in London in 1888. On the early morning of August 31, a man walking to work in Whitechapel discovered the body of a murdered East End prostitute. This discovery sparked one of history’s most infamous manhunts. Despite extensive research by “Ripperologists” and amateur sleuths, the identity of the killer, known as Jack the Ripper, remains a mystery. Traveler reviews
Batman would be this Robin's sidekick.
Robin was absolutely perfect. I can't think of a better tour guide. His story telling skills are unmatched and we loved his personal stories and connection to the locations and their history. He also had a lot of good jokes. Would highly recommend.
Storytelling and History
Robin was a great storyteller giving details and describing the times and people involved in the events. He would give his thoughts on the theories and suspects in the case and who likely could have done it.
Loved it!
Our guide was the best! Dressed the part. States he has been studying Jack the Ripper case for 30 years. He was very animated, talked loud enough so people in the back could hear him, and gave his opinion and why on who he thought "Jack" was. Please go into this knowing a little about Jack the Ripper. It is helpful to know what and who he is talking about!
Overall story and theory about Jack the Ripper
The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Extremely fun to listen to and told great stories would definitely recommend him.
Disaster
Despite a group of 6 waiting from 30 to 40 mins before the pickup time at the correct location until 20 mins after the time, no-one showed up, then they tried to claim they were there and went on the tour with two guests! 3 sets of 2 guests all can't have been wrong! Don't trust this company! They the. Wouldnt do anything to fix this!!
