Itinerary
The story of the Whitechapel murders is one of the great unsolved mysteries in the world. It is also one of the most fascinating and blood thirsty tales you will ever hear. It happened here in London in the year 1888. In the early hours of 31st August 1888 a man is walking to work down a dark lane in Whitechapel, he sees a shapeless bundle lying on the ground near some gates, curious he goes over to investigate. His gruesome discovery of a murdered East End prostitute then started one of the most famous man hunts in the world. Ripperologists and amateur sleuths to this day are still trying to work out the identity of a man they called Jack the Ripper. Can you solve the riddle on this spooky Whitechapel Walk? Come along the trail of Jack the Ripper… if you dare! This tour will finish at approximately 90 mins after the start time near Liverpool Street Station.

Traveler reviews
Excellent Jack the Riper Walk.
Robin is a very good and knowledgeable guide. Provided a lot of relevant information about the crimes, the area and the suspects - including gory detail - Not for the faint hearted!
Not just for tourists!
This tour was excellent. We are Londoners and did this tour as part of a "being tourists in your own city" day. Whitechapel is not an area we know, so its was great to explore somewhere new. We did it with our two teenage boys. Reluctant at first, they were captivated by stories of old Victorian London and were fascinated with the gory details. It also helped put into context some of the things they have learnt in school about the Victorian Era. "Jim the Ripper" is incredibly knowledgeable on the subject of The Ripper and his enthusiasm shines through.

Very informative with a good amount of walking. Jim (the Ripper) was great and very knowledgeable! Super impressed that he even had Jack’s letters memorized! Highly recommend.
Book the tour!
The tour guide “Jim the Ripper” was amazing. Very informative and passionate about what he does. The highlight of the tour was when he recited the 3 letters (“Dear Boss”, “Saucy Jack”, and “From Hell”) by heart and in character. He took us to lots important locations in Whitechapel and knew so many obscure details about the case. We had a great time and learned a lot on this tour. We highly recommend!
