Reviews
E biking is an amazing way to see SF and glad to have an option for family to rent when they visit. However, our most recent experience was poor. A family member rented here; the shop was closed on the contracted date of return stated on the email from them. My family member waited in the cold and they never opened. Hours later, the owner returned my call and offered us to bring it back add hoc. There was no compensation for the headache. We later learned (from google, their website and phone answering service) that they are normally closed most weekdays, including the day they told my family to return the bike. They required my family to leave their ID with them for the multi-day rental which is inconvenient and also worrying when the shop is closed so often and not open on the stated date of return. Is it really necessary to hold a customers ID at the shop for multi day rentals?
Riding across the Golden Gate Bridge was easily one of the highlights of my trip. I rented an electric bike from DandyHorse SF Bike Tours, and they were absolutely stellar—great service, smooth setup, and the e-bike made the ride effortless. I rode from the rental location all the way across the bridge and back, and the views were incredible the entire time. It’s an experience I’d highly recommend if you want something active but still relaxed. One thing to keep in mind: the walkways and bikeways can get pretty congested on weekends, so plan accordingly if you want a smoother ride. Overall, an unforgettable experience and a must-do when visiting San Francisco.
Great place! Eli was super friendly and was good advice ! 🙏
