Itinerary
Pass by: Meet your food-loving guide at Pile Gate, the grand entrance to the UNESCO-listed Dubrovnik Old Town. Then, set off along the Stradun, also known locally as Placa, into the medieval core of the city. As you stroll along this elegant main street, listen to your guide share fascinating insights into Croatian cuisine, and pick up a tantalizing ice cream from a street vendor.
Wandering along the labyrinthine streets, see the Franciscan Monastery, which contains a 14th-century cloister. See the restored sculpture, Michelangelo’s La Pietà, and pass by the Rector’s Palace, the impressive Orlando’s Column and other top sights. Along the way, stop in at a popular wine bar, where you’ll sample local wine during a guided wine tasting. With an expert leading the session, savor three different varietals, paired with regional specialties such as prosciutto ham and locally produced cheese, and learn how to identify the varying aromas and ingredients. With your appetite piqued, continue to a local restaurant to indulge in a 3-course lunch. Choose from a fish or meat menu and sink your teeth into delectable dishes that might include grilled squid with green potatoes, or succulent chicken breast served with grilled spinach risotto. After lunch, your tour concludes back at the original start point.

We did not get what was promised on...

We did not get what was promised on the tour. We did not receive any cold cut meat, cheese or ice cream. The tour guide who was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Dubrovnik was great but didn't deliver what was promised. We walked the main street went to the bar for wine, where we hung out and then she took us to the restaurant for food which wasn't great where she left us. That was it! We could have done that all on our own for less than 100 per person.

Our guide Ivana was excellent and provided lots of information about the history of the town of Dubrovnik.
Unfortunately we didn't sign up for a history tour it was a food walking tour, of the promised inclusions we failed to see the cold meats and cheeses nor did we get the 3 wine varietals as described. The lunch was simple and nice but at the end of the day, 280 for 2 ice creams, 2 small wine tastings and a simple lunch does not represent value for money

This tour made the rest of our time...

This tour made the rest of our time in Dubrovnik much more enjoyable! Our guide Kristina was not only knowledgeable about the history of the city, but also offered so much information on additional things to do in the city, some hidden gems, and the best times to participate in activities. Thank u!

Great trip! Weather was perfect...

Great trip! Weather was perfect. Game of Thrones tour and the City tour were very informative. Had the opportunity to watch the filming of Knightfall. Wish we had time to get out to the vineyards and neighboring islands - weekend isn't enough time to take in this great town.
