My husband and I really enjoyed this informative and sobering tour of Dachau. Jake was our guide and was fantastic. HIGHLY recommend. He has a lot of personal ties to the tragedy and his perspective was invaluable. He was so respectful and gave the tour the right amount seriousness while also remaining light hearted. We did not feel rushed and the transportation in and out of Munich was easy. This is a must see if you are in Munich.

Keith was a thorough and knowledgeable guide. He kept us all together while navigating the train, followed by a bus and as we toured Dachau. Yes, it is an emotional visit and it was hard to imagine the scale of what was going on. Keith explained the political tension of the times and helped us to understand what was happening. Although it is free to enter the Dachau memorial, having Keith’s guidance enabled us to understand much more. My husband and I enjoyed this tour though it’s still hard to imagine what a horrible event took place here.

Sept 2026 Dachau Tour
This was not a "fun" trip like most tours we take, but it was an important trip - both to honor the memory of those who suffered and died there and in other camps and to understand the magnitude of what was going on there. Our guide (Achem) was knowledgeable (and a little opinionated, but not in a bad way). Because you take a train and a local bus to get to the memorial, it had a unique feel compared to climbing on a motor coach.
