Itinerary
This where the tour starts and you meet your guide. After that, it will be a 2 hour journey to Neuschwanstein.
Schloss Neuschwanstein, often known as Germany’s "Cinderella castle," was actually the inspiration for a different Disney story, the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ castle at Disneyland. The entrance fee to the castle is not included (you can pay on the day), but by booking this tour in advance, you’ll receive skip-the-line access to Neuschwanstein so you won’t waste time standing in the ticket queue. The entrance fee to the castle is not included (you can pay on the day), but by booking this tour in advance, you’ll receive skip-the-line access to Neuschwanstein so you won’t waste time standing in the ticket queue. Once inside the enchanting structure, take a tour with a guide, who shares fascinating stories about the reclusive Bavarian king who commissioned a new residence in the 19th century. Thought to be mad, King Ludwig II desired a fantasy castle built in the mountains, an obsessive feat that was still incomplete when he died. Visit the best vantage points for views and photo ops of the castle’s towers, interiors and surrounding scenery such as the lake, gorge and equally beautiful Hohenschwangau Castle.
We will return to the starting point to conclude the tour.

Leon!!!!!!!!!!! Is!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom and I had the most magical experience on this tour. This happened because of our wonderful tour guide, Leon. Leon brought a sweet, enthralling, and engaging experience to the day. He made history come to life by providing thoughtful explanations and demonstrations of late Bavarian history. Leon has a beautiful personality and engaged deeply with the people on our tour. He made people laugh and even served us drinks to ensure we were hydrated! Would 100% recommend this tour to ANYONE and would be happy to do this same tour again with Leon in the future.
Wonderful day trip to Neuschwanstein
2 hour bus ride to Neuschwanstein was made more pleasant by our wonderful guide, Dan. He provided us with a lot of background on King Ludwig and the German folklore that inspired Neuschwanstein inside and out. We had time alone to explore the surrounding area. Dan was approachable and filled with so much knowledge. He gave us excellent advice to take the bus up and walk down. My family of four had a great day.
Neuschwanstein
Fantastic tour. The tour guide, Anna, was excellent --- extremely enthusiastic, friendly and informative.
Neuschwanstein Castle Tour
This is a must if in the area. The area is beautiful, and the history of the castle is very interesting. I highly recommend requesting Leon as your tour guide. He was amazing and made the trip much more enjoyable!!
Can't recommend it enough! Fairytale castle.
If you get the chance, see Neuschwanstein. Not only is the castle straight out of a fairytale (both inside and out), but the surrounding area is beyond stunning. When we turned the corner to look out over the lake all of our jaws dropped. I'd highly recommend booking a tour for the inside of the castle as it is like nothing I've ever seen - the level of detailed art, well-preserved wood/furniture/mosaics/etc., and general splendor is beyond belief. The tour groups are pretty large, so know that you will be in each room with quite a few people - I get somewhat claustrophobic in large crowds so I stayed near the back which worked well for me. For mobility: If you take the general bus route up, there is a walk along a path with some elevation to get to the castle. If you need mobility support look for ways to get up to the higher landing and take a card with your guide.
