Full description
This small-group walking tour links two of Copenhagen's most distinct neighborhoods: Nyhavn, the city's postcard-famous harbor, and Christianshavn, a canal-lined district often called Copenhagen's own Mini-Amsterdam. On this small group tour, explore how this compact city became one of the world’s most exciting culinary destinations.
Across five stops, you'll move through Danish food history: starting with a chef's refined take on smørrebrød, Denmark's classic open-faced sandwich, then crossing the water for a taco stand that's become a genuine local landmark, featured in Netflix's Somebody Feed Phil. From there, the tour continues through a modern porridge concept, a beloved hotdog cart, and finishes at a family-run bakery known for its cardamom buns.
You’ll visit vibrant food markets, historic spots, and local favorites that reflect both Copenhagen’s deep-rooted heritage and its forward-thinking food scene.
A small group led by a knowledgeable local guide, this experience goes beyond tastings; it’s a cultural journey through neighborhoods, stories, and flavors that define Copenhagen today, offering a fun and engaging way to connect with the city.

Reviews
Great tour
Absolutely amazing time truffle hunting. The host and puppy were lovely. I found it very educational as well. The food was so fresh and delicious and paired beautifully with the wines. Really enjoyed tasting the various truffle products. One of my favourite days of our Italy vacation.
RIBA was our guide for the Food Tour. We had such a great time learning about the different foods along with the great historic part of Porto. RIBA took us at a leisurely pace which made it so enjoyable!! You don’t want to miss this Time while you’re in Porto!! 👍🇵🇹❤️
