Great Trip
Phil our guide and Marco our driver did an amazing job!! Our driver had to maneuver some very tight places and really did a great job!! Phil did a really good job of explaining Irish history and all the sites we passed. Highly recommend!!

amazing tour
The tour was fantastic. You have roughly 2 hours in each destination which is just enough time to do a walking tour and castle tour of the small areas and even get a real quick take-away lunch. Our driver/guide combo was Dermot and Caroline and they were wonderful together. Funny, informative, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We visited several places of interest.
Dave and Krisna were friendly and helpful. AND Dave had candy!!! He had a lot of history to help us connect the places where we went so we could put it all into perspective.

Great day trip from Dublin . Ian, our guide, and Darren, our driver, took wonderful care of us. Ian really knows the area and gave us great commentary. Love the sheep dog trial!

Not in line with similar tour operators.
My wife and I selected Wild Rover. for the Belfast & Giant’s Causeway Day Tour. We’ve done similar day tours in Switzerland and Scotland (with Rabbie’s), so we came in with reasonable expectations. Unfortunately, this one fell short in a few key areas. We arrived early to board near the front and secured the second row—first row was marked for guests with accessibility needs, which we fully respected. However, at the second pickup, those seats were offered to late arrivals who weren’t mobility impaired. It was frustrating that despite arriving early for a better view, we weren’t even offered the option to move forward when the seats were reassigned. Felt like courtesy was lacking. The black cab tour in Belfast ended almost an hour before departure time, leaving us with nothing to do. We tried to board the bus early just to relax and wait—but were told to leave while the guide napped across several seats. Not exactly a welcoming atmosphere. Lunch didn’t happen until 13:45 for a tour that began at 7am, and although the food was decent, the late timing added to the fatigue. At Giant’s Causeway, which is stunning, there were no public restrooms—only those in a private restaurant. The guide told us to use them anyway but not to ask permission, which felt awkward and unprofessional. Most concerning: after leaving the Causeway at 15:45, we didn’t have another stop until 18:25. Wild Rover’s own website says “you’ll never be in the coach longer than two hours,” yet we went over 2.5 hours with no break. That’s not acceptable for a long, structured tour. Our guide, David, was friendly but commentary was minimal. Most of the drive was filled with music instead of background or storytelling like we’ve enjoyed on other tours. Only at the very end of the day did he walk the bus to offer suggestions for Dublin. This tour wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect for small-group or full-day tours. With a few small adjustments—more professional handling of timing, seat assignments, and guest comfort—it could be a better experience. As it stands, we’d recommend looking at other options.

Great Food, Scenes, & People!
This tour was amazing. Steve the bus driver was so friendly and great. Took us on the most scenic route it was incredible. Matt the tour guy was outstanding! He was so funny and made the tour so fun and informative. He had so many stories, food and music recommendations and showed us around the city of Galway before letting us explore on our own. We almost didn’t want the trip to end. If you’re wondering if you should do this tour, its a MUST. Great food and even greater people. Thank you Matt and Steve for an amazing ride!!

If you have a full day, give this tour a shot! Dave was very funny and personable. Krishna was a great driver. Nice combination of the outdoors, small town, and medieval castle. Good pacing throughout. Highly recommend!

Wonderful tour
Wonderful tour. Our guide had so many personal stories that related to the history of Ireland and Belfast in particular. We also loved being able to hike down to the giant’s causeway as well as explore the ruins of Dunlace castle. We opted for the Titanic Experience and it didn’t disappoint. Very moving.

Fun filled day seeing West Ireland
Elisa and Pete were great! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She had a great bubbly energy the whole day and made sure no one had any questions or issues throughout the day. Pete kept us safe while driving. It was a great experience!

Wonderful guides for a very informative tour
Great tour. Our driver John and Guide Ona were exceptionally friendly and informative and good natured. The black cab tour is a MUST, everyone on our tour who took this option over the Titanic loved it. It is very emotional and informative with real life experiences from guides who lived through the troubles, most of them young children or teenagers at the time. Our driver, Pat with the Hat generously shared the personal stories of loss within his family and best friends and had me in tears. Very impactful. Giants Causeway was worth the trip. Wear good walking shoes. Even with the rocks being dry there were some slippery spots. I wore walking sneakers and felt a little unsure of my footing at some points. With the right footwear it is fine. Also if you decide to take the bus back up the hill after exploring you either need a ticket or you can pay 1 pound with a debit or credit card when you get on the bus. Tickets are probably included with your visitor center admission but we did not have that built in to our tour. I am giving this the highest rating for our driver and guides. I do think this tour is a bit longer than it needs to be. Perhaps less time at the Causeway. 4 hours back to Dublin on the bus was difficult. Additionally those of us seated in the back had very little AC. John and Ona did their very best to make us as comfortable as possible and this may have just been a one-off issue since the front of the bus was cooler. Minor points that did not take away from the overall experience but worth noting.

Cliffs of Moher
Dermot was excellent. His humor and wit during the commentary in the bus was entertaining and he is a very knowledgeable. He gave us tips at every stop to maximize our time. We loved the trip!

Fun day trip to N. Ireland
This was a great day trip to explore Northern Ireland. Dunluce Castle gave us the best views of our whole vacation! Our driver Billy and guide Kevin S. Gave us a great entertaining ride! Super knowledgeable about everything Ireland. Would highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful and Informative Day Out!
We went did the Belfast Titanic Experience, Dunluce Castle, and Giants Causeway tour. Our guide Kevin S. and driver Billy were outstanding! Kevin was enthusiastic, informative, and funny. He made an effort to connect with everyone individually as well. Great family outing, and highly recommended.
