Fabulous Experience!
My husband and I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary in Ireland. We booked several tours to explore the country. Dave was an awesome guide and very informative. Krishna was a fantastic driver, pretty incredible navigating the tight roads with a large bus! Dave and Krishna kept us on time going to each stop. We're very happy with our experience and would book again!

It was a successful trip in terms of price/performance
My wife and I took a tour of the Wicklow Mountains, Kilkenny and Glendalough. The trip could start earlier, touristic places could be given more time, especially taking photos can be challenging. It was a successful trip in terms of price/performance, our guide Caroline M. and driver Dermont were attentive. The route information on Getyourguide could be updated in the tour promotion.

Great tour operator
Absolutely amazing tour guide and driver (Dave & Billy (+Dolly)). We were unfortunately caught up in a traffic jam lasting 2 hours and they did their best to make sure that we still got to see the Cliffs and Galway. It should be noted though, and it is in the details, you spend almost 3 hours going to the Cliffs and just under 3 hours coming back from Galway, so it'll be about 5-6 hours on a coach for 4 hours of sights (Cliffs & Galway). Just something to bear in mind.

Best tour guides
It was a great trip, easy pickup from Starbucks with enough time to get breakfast and use the restroom. Very friendly host and driver. David and Sarah were great. Sarah drove the bus like a 56’ Chevy, very smooth. David played the ukelele and was singing Irish songs and tales. He gave us an indept dive in to Irish history. Highly recommend these two, gave enough time at each stop and clear instructions for pick up and drop offs. Had a great time.

Great tour guide with a fabulous guide
The tour was amazing and Eve was a fantastic guide! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was also easy to hear which is very important to me as I am partially deaf. The Cliffs of Moher was incredible!

The Best Tour in Ireland
Hands down the best tour in all of Dublin! We visited for about 5 days and toured both inside and outside of Dublin including the Book of Kells. However, the beauty and nature of this tour partnered with the knowledge of Matt and safe driving of Steve made this a truly diamond day!

Charming views of Kilkenny and Glendalough
Excellent tour with Caroline Murray and Dermott! Caroline is very well studied and did a lot of preparation on historical facts. This was the best of three tours we have attended in Ireland. Both Dermott and Caroline know the area and the geography very well. Caroline is knowledgeable , lively and entertaining with good jokes also. In both Kilkenny and Glendalough Caroline led 30 minute walking tours and then we had time to explore , hike or grab food. The format worked out very well to see both Kilkenny and Glendalough and the sheep dog experience was great. Along the way we heard a lot of useful history and general information about Ireland. Would highly recommend.

Worth it!
Great bus trip with Matt and Steve, engaging and funny, gave us what we needed for a good tour out west. Bus had wifi and comfy seats!

Beautiful Day Out!
We had an amazing day exploring Kilkenny and the Wicklow Mountains. The sheepdog demo was a real highlight – and getting to hold a little lamb was the cutest moment ever! The lake walk was stunning, and we picked up loads of interesting historical facts along the way. Big thanks to our guide Ian and driver Marco – they were both fantastic and made the trip really fun. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our time very much with Krishna and David. Both are excellent although David’s jokes are horrible. Just kidding!!

The Perfect Tour
A perfect way to spend our last day in Ireland! We had plenty of time at each location to soak in the atmosphere, take pictures, and explore. The reviews for this tour really hit the mark, it was perfect all around, not once did I feel like there was any compromise or shortfalls! Our tour guide Phil was 11/10, with witty jokes, trivia, and exceptional knowledge of the culture and facts about Ireland really made the entire day trip enjoyable! He made it so that you enjoyed every part of the day, and didn’t have to wait to start enjoying the trip once you arrived at the Cliffs. Our bus driver Marco was elite. The roads can get tight and winding, but he made it the smoothest ride ever! If I could hire him as my personal driver I would! Whoever is lucky enough to get these two running their tour is going to have a great day to say the least. Thank you Phil and Marco for sending us off on such a high note!

Authentic Ireland Experience
This was the best tour I’ve ever done on any trip! Eve is so knowledgeable and you can absolutely tell she loves her job and Ireland! JP did amazing and easily navigated through sticky situations. I would definitely book through Wild Rover again and would request Eve and JP, if possible.

Caroline was fantastic. She was so engaging with a great sense of humor. She really displayed he enthusiasm for all the places we visited on the tour. lovely tour guide& driver, must see destinations
our tour guide david & driver sarah were so very lovely and well informed. dunluce & the giant’s causeway were both breathtaking & the black cab tour was very interesting. this is a great option for those of us who aren’t so comfortable driving in unfamiliar places!

A grand way to visit the Cliffs of Moher!
We took the day tour from Dublin to Cliffs of Moher and Galway with our guide Phil and driver Marco in June 2025, and it was a grand time! The Cliffs are so worth seeing! We were lucky enough to have a clear day and the views were amazing. One of the trails was blocked short due to dangerous conditions further on, but it was still awesome. The visitor center has lots of exhibits and a nice short "4D" video that are well worth checking out if you have time after seeing the trails, or if the weather isn't cooperative. The shops are touristy as you'd expect, but nice. It was a long ride, but Phil made it engaging with a combination of sharing his knowledge about the history and land and people of Ireland, with plenty of breaks for us to nap or read/knit/crochet. During the breaks, he played Irish tunes, loud enough to enjoy but soft enough to ignore if you preferred your own headphones. Marco was an awesome driver - it was such a smooth ride I barely thought about it, except for one point where another tour bus was going the wrong way along the Wild Atlantic Way (I guess that large vehicles normally all go the same direction to avoid this). Both buses stopped and the other backed up to a slightly wider spot where they could navigate past each other. I think the sides of the buses were within 30cm of each other as we went by, so I was very glad we had Marco at the wheel! By the time we got to Galway, all I wanted was to sit down and have a bite to eat. We decided on Handsome Burger, which was quite nice. I had the smashed burger and loved the texture and crispiness. (With a gluten free bun) The fries were good too, and in a dedicated fryer so I didn't have to worry about gluten cross contamination. We wandered a bit until it was time to board, but didn't have the energy to explore very far, so I can't say too much about Galway except it's beautiful and seems nice.
