Great tour, comfortable bus, knowledgeable guide (thanks Sean) and felt very safe with the driving (thank you Billy). Highlights were the Black Cab tour in West Belfast, I’m from Dublin and still learnt so much from our cab driver and tour guide Brendan. Plus of course the Giants Causeway.

Our tour guide, Matthew, was nothing short of exceptional, making our journey through Kilkenny, Wicklow, and Glendalough an unforgettable adventure. The long ride was made wholesome and enjoyable thanks to Matthew's engaging and informative commentary. His knowledge about the history, culture, and landmarks of the areas we visited was impressive, and his passion for sharing this information added a special touch to the tour. One of the highlights of the tour was our visit to a sheep farm, which was a really cool experience. Watching the sheepdogs in action and learning about the farm's operations was fascinating and provided a unique glimpse into rural Irish life. The tour was amazing. We were travelling with Yvonne and JP, and they were funny, engaging, smiling and positive to be around. The trip with wild rover tours itself is worth 5 stars, but Yvonne and JP makes it worth even more stars, which we sadly can't give here, due to the 5 star limit. Will recommend to everyone. Remember to bring money for tips.

This tour to the Cliffs of Moher & Galway exceeded our expectations. We knew the Cliffs would be beautiful, but we didn’t expect to also enjoy the long bus ride so much also. We arrived early and the tour bus and guides were already waiting for us. They were extremely organized and gracious to all the tour guests. We knew we lucked out immediately when our tour guide, Yvonne, started talking. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was also very witty and made for a fun day. Then there was our amazing driver, JP. He navigated the curvey, small streets impressively. Together they made a great duo and we were very thankful for them both. We highly recommend this Wild Rover tour.

The tour was very organized. The bus was already at the designated pick up spot upon my arrival, which was about 15 minutes early. I was quickly checked in, and escorted to a seat. The driving was very good and instructions for where to go and, where to meet, were very clear. We made two stops at rest areas, which made the long trip easier. Our driver was Steven. Our tour guide Yvonne passed around a map and then later on a list of recommended bars, restaurants in museum To see in Dublin. I’m very glad that I booked this trip and would definitely recommend this particular tour in company to anyone interested in venturing out of Dublin.

We recently did two separate Wild Rover day tours in Ireland. First (Giant’s Causeway & Belfast City) was great; second (Cliffs of Moher & Galway City) was not. In both tours, the ”technical” side worked well - we were on time, buses were relatively modern etc. The difference in our experiences comes down the guides. First guide was informative, talkative and funny. She made sure everybody was well informed about the program & what to do, how much to spend time at different exhibits etc. She had maps (and lunch menus!) on hand and passed them thru the bus and in every way was an excellent shepherd for our group. Second guide was pretty much the opposite. He was silent for a big part of the trip, sans for few long history lessons (and some interesting tidbits). At rest stops, communication was mostly ”ok guys, be back at this spot at ..”. And in Galway City the tour program contained a short ”walking tour” led by our guide; sadly he had started his tour well before everybody had even gotten off the bus 😮 (I would’ve wanted to give this review a 3,5/5 but since that’s not possible it’s a 4/5.)

Fantastic experience. It is a fair amount of time traveling by bus but the scenery does does not disappoint. Stipe was a masterful driver and David’s singing and stories as your guide are legendary.
