The best day of our trip

What an excellent experience! Our guide Darthi was the most engaging and passionate guide. He was a great storyteller and the driver John was a really friendly guy.

We had an amazing trip because of the knowledge and experience of Maurice and Billie. I’ll do this tour again!! The expertise displayed by both in advising where to go in addition to the fun we already had was an added benefit that was invaluable. I appreciate them both!!

Chose this tour because they had a second pick up location closer to our hotel and had a great time with Daíthí (hope that is the correct spelling) and Joe. It was just the right mix of information about the irish history and nature and quiet driving through the irish countryside. Any issues were dealt with quickly and with humor ☔️. Do recommend!

Giants Causeway & Belfast City Day Tour from Dublin (with Dunluce castle)

The trip was excellent! It was super organized and Kevin was an amazing tour guide. The sites were beautiful, especially the nature. Everyone really enjoyed it.

Geopark & Galway

David and Job led a fantastic tour. David tells great stories and shares Irish music throughout the long beautiful drives through the Irish country side. He shares useful tips for restaurants, view points, and shopping in Galway. It’s a long tour day but with a bathroom stop every 1-2 hours it’s doable. You get two hours at the cliffs which felt adequate and only two hours in Galway which felt short. They’ll advise you if you want to take the train back from Galway later you could. Hard to fit all this into one day. Thanks for a great tour.

A great way to experience rural Ireland

Very thourough and expansive tour. I felt like I was able to experience a great deal of Irish history in a short time. Some constructive feedback: I think 2 hours for Cliff of Moher is too much and 2 hours for Gallway is too few. Otherwise it was a great tour. Matt, our guide, had a clear passion for sharing the history of the Irish people and I especially appreciate the way these historical accounts were accentuated with his own personal experiences as an Irishman. Steven, our driver, kept the tour on time and did a good job getting us where we needed to be in a timely manner.

Excellent Tour, but Make Sure to Pack a Lunch

TL;DR: The tour was great, and we loved the guides Christian and Joe. The Cliffs were OK, the visitors centre was very cramped, and the food was meh (and overpriced). Galway was lovely. Really incredible service. We had tourguide Christian and driver Joe, who were both really lovely. As my dad is handicapped, we needed a bit of extra help, and they were great every step of the way. The ride from Dublin was smooth and pleasant, both Christian and Joe were funny, informative, and kind. The actual Cliffs were nice, with grand views. The facilities are very cramped and the food is overpriced, but that's to be expected with a very touristy location like this. The trip onwards to Galway was great. The guides provided us with suggestions of things to see and places to eat, both in Galway and Dublin. Overall I'd definitely recommend using Wild Rover, and I'd say you'd be lucky to have Christian or Joe on your tour. The Cliffs themselves were OK, I'd just advise to pack a lunch.

Great tour, Great tour host, and plenty of time

I'm writing this review several months after the tour, but this was an incredible tour - and extremely well run. Our tour guides (Murph and one more) were extremely personable, knew the perfect stories to tell, and were a perfect addition to my Ireland trip. This is the perfect day trip from Dublin if you are looking to maximize your trip. You get the Cliffs of Moher and Galway both - and have a decent amount of time in Galway. It's perfect.

Ask for Dave and John

First off Dave was great. Well informed on history, smart, funny, very nice guy who made time to meet and talk with everyone which doesn’t always happen. Best tour guide I ever dealt with. You can tell he likes his work. John the driver his partner also contributed more than just driving. He and Dave played off each other which was entertaining. Overall a great day. Trip a good 13 hours but never boring. Dave kept the energy level high my husband loved him. Would highly recommend. Try and ask for Dave and John if possible

It was a very beautiful day and the lambs were very cute! The views were amazing and everything was very fascinating! We had a really good day
