This tour was overall great! The black cab tour was exceptional; Giant's causeway was so pretty and we had plenty of time to explore; and David was a very informative tour guide!

Great trip, great driver, and great tour guide!

We truly enjoyed our trip with Maurice and Donna. Donna was a great driver. Maurice was knowledgeable and we really enjoyed his choice of music during the trip. Our Black cab driver was really helpful and provided a lot of information about Northern Ireland. Maurice made sure to interact with everyone on the bus on several occasions. He had additional information on family names, etc. that he readily shared. Although the day was long and the weather terrible we are happy we chose this tour.

Maurice and Pat = Great Tour Guides

Our family took the daylong Wild Rover Bus Tour from Dublin to Belfast to Dunlace Castle to the Giant’s Causeway and back. Our bus tour had an informative and quick-witted tour guide in Maurice (elderly gentleman, often wears a pink paddy cap, pronounces his name as ‘Morris’ for the Americans out there) who did well to keep parts of the tour targeted to how the places us guests were from were connected to Ireland. He always had something to say when greeting us on and off the bus and tossed jokes into his history with pure fluidity. Perhaps my only issue was that he forgot at times where we were from and had to ask a few times. When presented in Belfast with the choice of a Black Cab tour with a Troubles survivor or a Titanic Museum visit, we chose the former, and found ourselves in the homely taxi of Pat with the Hat (‘with the Hat’ to distinguish him from the other 5 Patricks in the cab service) who proved instantly engaging in drawing us into the history of Irish Catholic oppression by the Protestants, police, and British army. His testimony of personally witnessing many milestone events and having many relatives and friends who died in the troubles immersed you in the history in a deeply personal way. I would recommend seeking Pat with the Hat out if taking the Black Cab tour.

Breathtaking views and Northern Irish History

This experience was the perfect combination of learning about Northern Irish history and incredible unique scenery. From beginning to end, Maurice took great care of our group. I was impressed with all the folders of articles and research he passed around during the bus ride and his knowledge of Irish history. Him and our driver Donna were very prompt and timely and kept the group moving. Even the bus ride a lone was enjoyable looking at the views of the lush countryside with endless farms of cattle and sheep. Learned a lot about Northern Ireland on the Black Cab tour. Our cab driver Keiren was very personable and very passionate about his job and sharing the history. I’m really happy we had him as our cab driver. Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway were breathtaking. I was a little unprepared for the weather, even in August it was FREEZING from the strong winds and light rain so I wish I packed a warmer jacket for those. If the weather were better I would have wanted to spend more time at the Causeway, but with how cold it was the amount of time allotted was perfect. There would not have been enough time for us to walk there (since we opted to eat lunch at the Nook restaurant) so I am grateful for the shuttle service. Overall, I am very glad we did this excursion during our trip to Ireland and I would recommend this excursion to anyone who visits Ireland.

Excellent experience..Stephen and Lisa made the ride to Belfast from Dublin very interesting and fun..Lisa's excellent driving skills got us there safely and in a timely manner. Donna and Maurice made a great visit to Belfast. They were great at making sure everyone got to the bus on time. Maurice had reading materials to spread around to learn how Irish history relates to you. Excellent value for everything we got to see in 1 day. Belfast Black Cab is a must do!

Awesome Tour Guide and Dive into Local History Along the Route

I loved the sites but what I appreciate the most is that I learned so much about Irish history through Eve along the trip. She is so knowledgeable and gives you an extensive dive into Irelands complex historical changes and culture. Joe was an excellent driver, master navigator, and so kind and approachable. They both were so accommodating and sweet. The cliffs were absolutely breathtaking and Galway is such a beautiful town that feels more like the real Ireland than Dublin. Also if you're craving authentic Mexican tacos in Ireland (of all places) go to Salsa’s in Galway. Lol Came back exhausted but heart filled. Definitely worth the day trip time.

Charlie’s Magical Bus Tour

Charlie was a great guide sharing just the right amount of information about the history of Ireland and the sites we visited. His sense of humor was hilarious. The cliffs are a must see.

Steve (Driver) and Matt (Guide) were great and really made my trip to and from Cliffs of Moher and Galway one of ease and comfort. Matt did a great job keeping the tour informative while also interesting and fun. I enjoyed how interactive he was with us while driving up to the cliffs not just with his information on Ireland but really immersing us in Ireland’s culture through playing traditional and rock & roll Irish music. I enjoyed also learning about the folk lore/old Irish fairy tales about the fairy trees and fairy circles. I also appreciated that he let both believers and scientist coexist by explaining the folk lore but also the scientific reason these tales might actually exist/the scientific reason why these occurrences happen such as why fairy trees are dangerous folklore and scientifically. Steve did a great job navigating the road and keeping us on schedule. I also personally really appreciate both Steve and Matt for being so considerate and understanding when I was feeling nauseous on the trip and how they modified seating to accommodate me so that I could enjoy the drive to and from. If you have the privilege of having these two gentlemen be your guides and transport, you will be in for a great day trip.

The tour was very well organized with just the right amount of information. The tour guide Niamh was very friendly and vivacious . The bus driver Sarah was also very good at her job because some of the local roads were small and narrow but she was a complete pro. Would recommend this tour group.

A good balance of informative narrative and peaceful downtime to just enjoy the journey. Matt our guide and Steven our driver were both efficient and friendly. Matt’s storytelling was spot on, with a wicked sense of humor and great taste in music. The bus was comfortable and most importantly has multiple USB connections for charging so you just need to bring your charging wire.
