Matt offered us an excellent guide. And Marcal (the driver ) made us feel safe through the whole tour. The time spent at everything stop was perfectly calculated so you had enough time to visit every place. Mainly 2 hours stop at the cliffs of moher and 2 hours at the galway city. I recommend this tour to everyone of you reading the review.

We had a terrific tour with driver Marsin the driver and Matt the host. The drive was nothing short of spectacular filled with information and humor. The views were incredible and gave us a glimpse of the Irish countryside.

Highly recommend this trip to see some of Ireland’s gems

Really recommend this day trip. It’s a long day but the coach was comfortable ànd Oona ànd Paolo kept us informed and entertained whilst on the road. The highlight was the black cab tour in Belfast. John was informative ànd funny and more than happy to answer any questions. His passion for his city shone through. The people looking after us throughout the day were kind, funny and informed.

Galway Day Trip

We wanted to include other parts of Ireland outside of Dublin. Murphy and Sarah were great! They made the experience a lot of fun. Murphy was a great host, informative & entertaining while Sarah drove with expertise!!

PLEASE read if your are SOLO travelling

A fantastic day out as part of my first solo trip! The tour itself was great, made even better by great locations and weather in February. Driver Stephen and Guide Brendan were great - cracking jokes, providing insightful facts and expert driving down narrow roads and stopping at POI’s so we could get a good view outside the window! Extra time was given at the locations compared to other tour companies, which was a main reason why I picked Wild Rover Tours. It’s just a shame that the day was tainted a little by my seat switch… If you are travelling solo like I did, be prepared to move seats/coaches if there are multiple vehicles allocated to one tour. I had claimed a window seat on my favoured left hand side as many of the amazing views on this tour are on the left hand side of the coach. As there was an odd number of people on our coach and an even number on the other, I was asked to leave my seat and move coaches, where I didn’t get a choice as to where I was sat. I was then given an aisle seat on the right hand side of the coach, the complete opposite to what I initially chose. The person I was sat next to was a smoker too so not a pleasant experience upon the conclusion of the multiple toilet stops we took on the way to and from Dublin. Like I said, all in all it was a really enjoyable day, but it could’ve been even more memorable if I was allowed to stay in my chosen seat.

Cliff Hangin’ and Galway Livin’

A cold, rainy, wet experience! The views were breathtaking and amazing at the Cliffs of Moher. Galway was such a beautiful little town with a lot of amazing energy. Murphy and Sarah were excellent. Murphy is very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with his light humor. Highly recommended to get that Ireland experience!

VERY ENJOYABLE DAY OUT

I was pleasantly surprised since start of trip, easy to find coach at city centre location, Steven, guide man, and Colin, driver were excellent, seated us, inside coach was clean and warm, which we needed considering how cold was outside, breaks were every couple hours, which was perfect for me, toilet and coffee visits, trip fare was very reasonable in my opinion, it was 12 hours day out, but went so quickly as i enjoyed every minute of it, coach atmosphere was good, with Steven talking via pa all info regarding passing points and basic Ireland history lessons. Coach was full, with no troubles at all, lots of nationalities, accesible for anybody, older people and people with disabilities. Cliffs of Moher is must see, Galway city worth visiting.
