I had a great time on this tour and would definitely recommend it. I visited on May 31, 2026, with our tour guide Stephen, and the experience was absolutely worthwhile for seeing the Cliffs of Moher. One thing to keep in mind is that your experience is heavily dependent on the weather. Luckily, the day I went was sunny, so we had clear and stunning views of the cliffs. Afterward, we headed to Galway. Personally, I was not overly impressed by Galway itself, but it was still a pleasant stop for lunch and browsing the local shops. That said, the Cliffs of Moher alone made the entire tour worth it. The driver did an excellent job navigating the very narrow roads, and Stephen was fantastic throughout the trip. He shared engaging stories about Irish culture, history, and myths that made the long drive much more enjoyable. Compared to other tours I’ve taken around Europe, I would say this was one of the better ones. A quick disclaimer for travelers: the roads are narrow, winding, and fairly bumpy. If you are prone to motion sickness, the drive—especially the roughly two-hour stretch between the cliffs and Galway—may be uncomfortable

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our guide, Matthiew, was knowledgeable, engaging, and had an excellent sense of when to share insights versus allowing quiet moments to appreciate the scenery. The driver was equally pleasant and made us feel completely at ease throughout the journey. The bus was comfortable and well-suited to the route. The Cliffs of Moher were truly spectacular—personally, I would have loved to spend another hour there to fully absorb the landscape. Galway itself was charming, though I found it somewhat less interesting than expected. One small note: I had anticipated a brief stop in the Burren region, but the views from the bus itself were quite comprehensive, making a stop feel less essential.

It should be a walking tour, but there is a little rain, but the tour guy didn’t walk with us, I saw other tour group with a leader.

Excellent trip, the guides were wonderful and gave us a lot of useful information. Perhaps we could have stayed a little longer in Galaway.

Transportation not as advertised
We booked a Wild Robers tour from Dublin to Kilkenny including a sheep dog experience. The bus was advertised as having AC. However, the bus we were assigned to did not have functioning AC. As the outside temperature was approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit, it was much warmer in the bus with no open windows. The guide, driver and tour operator were unwilling to make any accommodations. One family left the tour early in an Uber due to the unbearable heat. I would highly recommend booking a tour through a different company.

Great experience
This was a great experience. Wonderful way to see the cliffs and get a little insight into the Irish history. There is a lot of driving time, but the experience is worth it. Our guide was Julia and she is super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Joe was our driver and got us to and from safely. I recommend requesting this pair if you can.

Amazing Experience
This excursion was amazing in all aspects. Brendan (tour guide) and Krishna (driver) were a wonderful team and made the experience very enjoyable. All the stops and points of interest were great, as well as all the history and lore passed on by Brendan. Highly recommend.

Despite the rainy and...
Despite the rainy and windy weather, this was a great experience! The sites were beautiful and the food at the Cliffs of Moher restaurant was excellent! Pick up and drop off was easy, well organized, and on time. The charismatic duo, Julia and Joe, made this experience all the more enjoyable. They were attentive and engaging.

Always Leave 'em Wanting Moher
This was one of the most enjoyable travel experiences I've ever had. Stephen and Stephen (aka Stephen^2) were welcoming and entertaining, with Stephen the tour guide lighting up the bus for the entirety of our drive. The scenery itself was breathtaking, but that would be the case no matter how you get there. It wouldn't have been the same experience without Stephen - go raibh maith agat! If you get the chance to do any of Wild Rover tours with him, book it.

Well organized trip. Guide and driver knowledgeable, engaging and personable. Good value for the money. Be aware that the bathroom stops are 15 minutes. You can go to the bathroom OR get a coffee, not both (If female).

Amazing tour!
We had an absolutely fantastic day with Wild Rover Tours and our guide, Neil. We were the Canadian and Australian couple on the tour, and Neil made the entire experience memorable from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting facts and stories about Ireland’s history, culture, and countryside. The day was well-organized, relaxed, and packed with beautiful scenery. Kilkenny was a definite highlight for us. It’s such a charming and picturesque town, and we loved having time to wander and soak up the atmosphere. We also absolutely loved the sheepdog demonstration and watching the sheep being rounded up. It was fascinating to see the skill involved and gave us a real appreciation for Irish farming traditions. Thank you, Neil, for such a wonderful day. We learned so much, saw some incredible sights, and made some great memories. We would highly recommend Wild Rover Tours to anyone visiting Ireland! 🍀🇮🇪🇨🇦🇦🇺
