Amazing sites to see!

The driver (Paolo) and the guide (David) did an excellent job of getting us there and telling us about the history on the way. Be prepared for narrow and windy roads. We went during the heat wave of Europe so the bus air conditioning was struggling to keep up. The Cliffs of Moher were amazing to see. We got lucky and it was sunny the whole time. The only downside was you only get to spend 2 hours in Galway.

Great experience! The sites were really interesting and the drive was stunning. Our guides (Daithi and Kasper) were great. Daithi gave a really good overview of Irish culture and had a lot of recommendations on things to do for the rest of our trip.

Excellent tour

We truly enjoyed this tour! Maria was so informative of the history and area and her funny wit kept us laughing! We were also very impressed with her driver in maneuvering that huge bus through the narrow streets! I would highly recommend this tour.

Watch the Weather

I’ve been to cliffs before but it’s the kind of experience that is weather-dependent. The rest of Ireland had sun and warm temperatures but at the cliffs it was chilly and misty. We had literally a two minute window to snap a picture before everything was enveloped by mist again.

Great tour. Weather was awesome and the sites were gorgeous. But Kevin and PJ brought it all together exceptionally.

Great tour stops, but no texting while driving please!

We toured Giant’s Causeway and Belfast plus a short stop at Dun Luce castle. It was a beautiful day and the stops were very interesting and scenic. Maurice was our tour guide and kept things on track from a timing perspective albeit a bit strict with some of the other passengers who didn’t speak English as well as he did. I am rating this as 3 stars because the driver Patrick, was continually texting and checking his messages while driving. This includes having to type his unlock code and navigate through apps. He would read and type messages. At one point he even took a video call from what appeared to be a girlfriend or wife and all of this while driving a bus with 50+ people at higher speed. I finally had to speak up and ask him to stop since I had witnessed at least 10 incidents of this already and we were about to enter a tunnel on the way back to Dublin. I said “please stop texting and driving. It is dangerous while driving, especially in a tunnel.” He did stop but I don’t know if the next day he started right back up with the same behavior.

Cliffs were great and we...

Cliffs were great and we got there early enough that the rush of the other tours weren’t there yet. Although the Wild Atlantic Way was interesting, the windy roads did not agree with my motion sickness, so keep in mind when considering. Galway was pleasant. Good tour but a very long day.

So very disappointing

I was booked on a Wild Rover Tours trip to Belfast the morning after a night of severe rioting. Cars, businesses, and homes were being set on fire, and I genuinely feared for my safety. In the middle of the night, I emailed the company to ask whether the tour was still considered safe to operate and explained that I was very concerned about travelling under those circumstances. Their response was simply that the tour would be going ahead, they would be keeping my money, and that was essentially the end of the conversation. There was no empathy, no reassurance, no acknowledgment of the extraordinary situation, and no attempt to work with me. I lost about $140, but my personal safety is worth far more than that. What disappointed me most wasn’t the money—it was the company’s apparent lack of concern for a customer’s well-being during an exceptional and potentially dangerous situation. Customer service is tested when things don’t go according to plan. In this case, I felt completely dismissed. Based on this experience, I would not choose to do business with Wild Rover Tours again, nor would I recommend them to anyone who values responsive, customer-focused service.

Highly Recommend!

We went to the Cliffs of Moher and toured castles. The tour was amazing and in no small part due to our wonderful guide Murphy and or driver Keith! The length at each stop was just right, and we learned things along the way as well. We laughed so much! These guys are great at what they do. Highly recommend!

Kilkenny was terrific but...

Kilkenny was terrific but the sheep farm was a fabulous bonus! Not only did you see the sheep dog lead the animals but we got to hold a little lamb.

Our Wild Rover tour was...

Our Wild Rover tour was great! Neil and Paulo were wonderful guides. They were knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions for the rest of our stay in Ireland. The sheepdog demonstration was the highlight of the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore outside of Dublin!

My family and I did the Cliffs of Moher bus tour and had a great time! It's a long day, but it's absolutely worth it. Having a fantastic guide made all the difference. We had Jon, who kept the trip entertaining with plenty of historical facts and funny stories along the way. He made the experience even more enjoyable. If you're considering this tour, I definitely recommend it!
