I went to the Titanic Museum, Dunluce Castle and Giant's Causeway with Donna and Daithi and it was great. Donna is an amazing driver and Daithi is an extraordinary tour guide. He is also a brilliant storyteller and kept us all involved throughout the trip. I highly recommend the tour! I also did the tour to Kilkenny, Glendalough and a sheep farm and it was as lovely as my first tour. This time our driver was Krishna (extremely funny guy and well experienced) and our guide was Eoin (very knowledgeable about Irish history). Eoin took us to authentic places around Kilkenny and made sure we all had a great time! We went up a tower and even experienced a real Irish pub. Great tour too!

I've been on this tour and others before with competitors. Ian. The guide was the the best I've seen. He was very informative the whole trip. And kept checking to see if everyone was doing okay on the bus, and even at the destinations where other guilds just leave you on your own and only tell you what time to meet back at the bus for departures. And Darren was the excellent bus driver. I would highly recommend this tour and these 2 wildrover representatives to everyone.

Quality of tour will depend on guide

We really enjoyed the sheepdog demonstration and holding the lambs was the highlight of our trip. However our guide spoke more about himself than about the places we visited, and by the end of the trip we knew far too much about his life and barely anything about Kilkenny and Glendalough.

Loved it

Did this tour with my husband and 13yo daughter. Everyone had a great day! Julia was an awesome tour guide, super knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining. I learned so much and even my 13yo was into the stories and history. Sara was a very skilled driver and a lovely person to share the day with. Overall wonderful experience. Top notch!

The pacing is very good...

The pacing is very good and the planning is a nice mix of culture and nature.Julia our tour guide was knowledgeable, sweet, funny and very likable. We had a great time in the bus listening to her Irish music Playlist and discovering new artists. I recommend the tour if you want to see a bit more of Ireland from Dublin and you dont have much time.

Best countryside tour and very authentic Irish outing

A great variety in the day and highly recommend! Comfortable bus, plenty of restroom stops, and food options. Holding the baby lambs was the highlight along with the charming town of Kilkenny and of course the hike at Glendalough in Wicklow area. Strongly recommend! Little kids loved the baby lambs but got bored quickly with the scenery - but then they enjoyed the little towns with castles and walking. Strongly recommend this tour!

Day tour to the country

Kilkenny is a cute little town. Take the self guided castle tour. Glenndelough is scenic we were very lucky with the weather.

Sunday Funday

Wonderful experience. The bus is very comfortable for a long day. If you’re fortunate enough to get Frank and Joel as guides, your day will be enhanced. The cliffs are lovely and Galway is a quaint city.

Great experience

Each stop has plenty to see and explore. The guides are very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. It has very helpful to learn about Ireland and the experiences of its many people from those who know it first hand.

Excellent experience in very crowded tourist areas

We had an excellent tour with Julia (our guide) and Stephen (our driver). We enjoyed the cliffs and our stop in Galway. I was particularly impressed with Julia’s warm and humorous narration during our drive, giving us a taste of history and culture. The only downfall was both the cliffs and Galway were packed and completely overrun with tourists (I know, it’s a bit rich coming from a tourist myself). But it was simply packed. This has nothing to do with the quality of experience for Wild Rover so it did not impact my overall rating. But definitely be warned if you book this trip.

Excellent value

We did back-to-back tours with Wild Rover over a weekend - Saturday to Cliffs of Moher and Galway with Padraig as our guide and Sunday to Dunluce Castle, Giant’s Causeway, and Belfast with Maurice as our guide. We were lucky to have Mick as our bus driver both days! Both tours and guides were excellent. Padraig had a great sense of humor, was super personable, and taught us Irish songs/played Irish instruments for us on the bus. Maurice was super knowledgeable - we learned a lot from him about our tour and about Ireland. Mick the driver is just the best! These tours are an incredible value for the price.
