Best way to see and learn about Galway City

From the welcome to the farewell, it was professional, fun, and very informative. Our guide Ivan is so passionate about his job, Galway City and e.bikes. he is an excellent guide. The e.bikes are top quality, very comfortable, and make the journey effortless. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Galway to take this tour. Being from the county, I was shocked how much I learned and how many things and places that I didn't know existed. Delighted, we took the time to take this tour.

Guided electric bike tour

50 years plus female, this tour is exceptional. Ivan is a wealth of knowledge, which he dispenses in a fun and informative way. He is so lovely, constantly checking with his clients to help them get maximum enjoyment from the tour. I have visited Galway many many times however seeing it by these pedal assist bikes was something else. From salthill to UCG and through the spainsh arch and up to Eyre Square and so much more. Cycling through Dangan woods to Menlough castle was my highlight. The bikes are so easy to handle, and the helmets have built in microphones that allow two way communication. Give it a go, you won't be sorry

Absolute Necessity for fun, history and local stories!

Best “local” tour we’ve done in Europe and America. Dean was friendly, funny and thoughtful about stories he shared and advice offered. He had our 2 teenagers laughing and smiling the entire time. The e-bikes make it easy for the unfit to travel, but he also let the teens know how to make it more challenging. We saw more beautiful sites in the two hours than possible just walking/driving. We had beautiful weather, windy and overcast, but even in rain I would like to go again. 10 days in Ireland and my family rates this as the “must do.”

Miley is terrific. He is knowledgeable, funny and a great host for his hometown. We truly enjoyed our time with him. The e-bikes are excellent. A wonderful time.

Really enjoyed the bike ride. 2.5 hrs is the minimum- I would plan for up to 4 hrs as any stops add time. It includes road riding but if you stay left drivers are very respectful and it didn’t feel dangerous at all. Stunning coastal views. Best if you’re familiar with using an ebike but still doable with the into we were given. It’s self guided- no tour guide, but we were helped by the woman at the desk at the Inn and she was most kind- even let us postpone our rental by a couple hours due to the heavy rain. Lots to see and do in Dingle and this was a highlight. Highly recommend.

Fun and informative introduction to Galway

Great tour! Ivan was en excellent guide - knowledgeable, funny, kind and helpful. There was a light rain, but it didn’t interfere with our tour or fun. We learned and saw a lot of Galway. Fantastic introduction to the city.

Never again

Terrible customer service. On the day of our tour, it was raining sideways. We initially were unaware that the bike tour did not include a guide. It is a self guided tour with audio through the helmet. We considered it extremely unsafe to ride with our family on the Dingle Peninsula given the poor visibility and sheeting rain. The activity was noted to be “weather dependent.” We arrived early to the meeting spot and saw a “We Wheels” bike propped outside. There was no representative in sight and the door to the Marina Lodge was locked. We went to a nearby coffee shop to get out of the rain and called the only telephone number provided which was for Viator/TripAdvisor for advice. The kind customer service representative understood the predicament and told us she would call the vendor to cancel on our behalf. We were surprised to later receive an email notifying us told that our case was reviewed but that the pre-payment for the five of us would not be refunded without any further explanation. Luckily our credit card company agreed to reverse the charges. Will not book through them again.

Mylie was great! Gave a detailed and personal tour of Kinsale with beautiful views. We had fun and got a bit of exercise. Saw things we would have otherwised missed on a walking tour

Ivan was a wonderful guide. The bikes were fun and we got a good sense of Galway. The tour made us wish we spent more time in Galway! Ivan quickly noticed we liked birds and architecture and focused our time on those.

Outstanding way to see Galway

Ivan is a fabulously friendly and well informed tour guide, and the electric bike option makes the tour very easy. Not only did Ivan provide great information about the town and it's features, he went WAY over and above and helped us out of a jam when one of our cell phones died. I would not hesitate to recommend this as a great way to see Galway!

A Must-Do Experience!

We booked this last minute and we are SO happy that we did. The tour was so much more than we expected and our guide Ivan was so knowledgeable and passionate about the city, it really makes you fall in love with Galway if you haven’t fallen already! We got to see the whole city and view beautiful sites that we would’ve never known about otherwise. If you’re coming to Galway and want to learn about the area and have some fun, this is a must-do experience! Worth every penny.

Must do adventure in Kinsale

Kinsale is such a beautiful town. It is a must see by bike. Tour guide was personal, good to ensure our safety, gave solid information about the historical and modern sites of the town without overwhelming us with too much detail. E-bikes made the ride easy and delightful. Helmets had built in communications devices so our guide could tell us about our journey and the sites we were seeing and we could communicate back with him. He was great to answer questions and had deep knowledge and love for Kinsale. We were was sad to have it end after 3 hours.

The Dingle Peninsula Ride - Beautiful, Just Do It

Dingle Peninsula on E bike with wife and another couple. This was one of my favorites, as you are out there on your own right in the middle of everything. Spectacular views and interesting stops. Riding the road on the narrow road takes getting used to, but cars go pretty slow on this trip. We were out about 4 hours and would have done the trip again if we had stayed in Dingle longer.
