Orla was so friendly and informative, she showed us the routes, the bikes and helped us to work the helmet intercom - whichw as great! it's a stunning route with amazing views, we didn't care about the rain as it was just so beautiful. Lovely places to stop for food to a hot drink along the way as well as stopping for fairy circles, views across to skellig. a really fun trip!

Best way to see the sights

This was our first e-bike tour and we are sold! Ivan was a tremendous guide! We had a terrific tour learning so much in a fun manner too. What a lovely way to see the sights!

Helpful employees

The woman working the day of our reservation was lovely and helpful. We were notified early in the day that some bikes needed maintenance and were offered refund or coordinating bikes from another local shop. We really appreciate that they didn’t send us out in broken e-bikes.

Beautiful Irish ride with some unexpected bonuses.

The ride is self-guided, which we did not realize, but it worked out well regardless. We were a group of four fit adults ranging from 57 to 65. We showed up at 13:30, left around 14:00, rode the lower loop with a 2 mile detour to a leatherworker's where my wife purchased a beautiful purse. We stopped at three other places along the way to pet lambs and for some photo-ops. We returned in time for our 17:30 dinner reservation through a cold driving rain for the last 30 minutes of the ride, so it felt authentically Irish. Total distance traveled was 28 miles.

The best way to get to know a city. See hidden gems and get a good feel for where everything is located. I highly recommend.

The bike ride was...

The bike ride was beautiful. You do bike on the ride with traffic, parts of the road only allows one vehicle at a time through so if you have not ridden a bike in traffic this is not for you. The bikes were great. The app that guides you was great at the beginning but ran both our iPhone batteries down about halfway through.(we both have new iPhones and our batteries were almost 100%) The guide talked about what you were seeing, it would have been nice to hear that all the way through the ride. The woman setting up the bikes was wonderful . Overall a very nice experience.

We Wheel Guided Tour

Excellent experience, the tour of the area with Cathal was really informative and perfect length. Bikes in great condition and easy to use (even for someone who is not a bike rider!). Well worth it and enjoyed by us all.

Galway bike experience

Ivan was a great host. He took us around Galway for about two hours. Weather was great and we learned a little bit of history. Oh and he took great photos of us.

Best part of the trip to Ireland!!!

This was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Ireland. If someone would have told me that I would have biked 35 miles and 5 hours … and that my back wouldn’t hurt and anything else … I would have laughed. But it’s true! And it’s the only way to see the Dingle Peninsula. We stopped at everything we wanted to see, had no trouble with cars on the road. The bikes worked fabulous. And the company so flexible. I’m 53 and my husband 52. And we took our teenager on the trip … all of us came away wishing we had more time! Not enough great things to say. Wish we would have done it for part of the Ring of Kerry as well!

Must do experience. Great bikes (iPhoneApp needs some updates)

Highly recommended experience, assuming you are comfortable riding on narrow roads with cars passing consistently. The views on the Slea Head drive are amazing, and there are a lot of interesting points to stop along the way... including (but not limited to), fairy fort & pet local animals, hold a baby lamb, Cafe Na Tra or Teac Couminole Cafe (both very close to each other). Coumeenole beach & Dunmore head (hike/walk to the end!) Dunquin pier, Krugers pub (Great fish & chips), Blasket Center, Clogher strand, ferriter's cove, Kerry Brewery, and more. Check-in and return was smooth and quick. The bikes were brand new and worked well. and the helmet is very nice (bluetooth speakers in the helmet and safety light on back!). I rode on a windy day so it was helpful to have the extra electric power up the hills. Only CON: the WeWheel app didn't work well. it paused about 10 min into the ride and kept redirecting me. when i tried to exit and start over, it wouldn't start unless i rode back to the official starting point downtown dingle. So i turned it off. Luckily, i had driven the trip before and had a good idea of where i wanted to go.

It was amazing. If you are in Galway for only a short stay (we had a morning to explore), this is the way to get it all in. We signed up for a self-guided tour but were pleasantly surprised when Evon (sorry if I spelled it wrong) offered to take us himself! An unexpected and awesome experience! Thank you so much!! We highly recommend this tour.

Galway Guided Bike Tour

We had a wonderful time with Ivan on our bike tour! We ended up having a private tour because we were the only ones booked for today. Ivan gave clear navigation tips while we were biking and interesting information about the various places we passed. He also gave a lot of great recommendations for things to do in Galway. I highly recommend this tour!

This was the highlight of our trip! Alex was a fantastic guide and we got very lucky with a sunny mild day! We took two teenagers and never worried because Alex was watching out for us while we rode in the lanes with cars! The bikes were so easy to operate. Definitely add this to your list!

Best way to see Kinsale!

I can’t recall if I already wrote a review but just recommended this e-bike tour to a friend because it was a highlight of our time in Kinsale! We were blessed with a beautiful day but it would have been great either way! Our guide was a well versed local who showed us the entire town sharing the long history of the people and places in Kinsale. Will do it again when we go back!
