Unforgettable Gondola Ride with Bea in Venice
We had an incredible experience with Bea as our gondola guide in Venice! From the moment we stepped onto the boat, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. Enjoyable but not what I expected
You will meet next to a “newstand” type place around 5-10 minutes close to your selected time. You will walk around to the Grand Canal and will give brief history; then take you to where Gondolas are. You will go around the Canals and partially over the Grand Canal (maybe 2 minutes worth?) The tour guide was nice; the only thing I have to say that was bad was me assuming the ride was mostly over the Grand Canal.

More than just a gondola ride!
We love that this tour included a tour of the immediate area leading to the gondola ride. The guide imparted Venice’s colorful history, adding to the place's magic. The gondola ride was fun, and the included 4D experience at the Venice Museum afterward was an added fun surprise, especially for my 10-year-old niece!

Tedious
Expecting a straight forward Gondola ride. You have to find the office. Then you have a virtual 3D experience, people turned up late, so or 2.40p. Ride started at 3.15pm. We didn't need to book. There were loads of gondolas available, without the faff!! A 25 minute ride took over an hour!

The ride was beautiful and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was very kind. May was definitely the right time of year, weather couldn’t have been better!

Venezia, la città sospesa sull'acqua, tutta da scoprire
Visita con audio guida, Nicola ci ha spiegato molto bene e si è reso disponibile a rispondere ad eventuali domande durante il percorso in vaporetto; mentre ci dirigevamo verso Murano e Burano. Abbiamo avuto inoltre la possibilità di visitare anche in autonomia le due isolette (un ora extra su entrambe). A Murano abbiamo avuto la dimostrazione di come viene soffiato il vetro, un altre per pochi, gli artigiani fanno sembrare semplice quest'arte che si effettua con tanta maestria. A Burano invece abbiamo potuti vedere come viene effettuato il merletto, un arte in cui su unico pezzo ci possono lavorare bene 7 artigiane diverse ciascuna specializzata in una tipologia di merletto! Venezia è una di quelle città che ci ricorda quanto le tradizioni e l'artigianalitá siano importanti, ed uniche, da portare avanti nel tempo.

Great gondola ride
The operator invited us first with a Virtual Reality (VR) introduction of Venice before bringing us to the gondola station for the ride. The ride was smooth and fun. The punting guy was simply talking to his fellow punters which we didn't mind.

This was a wonderful way to end a beautiful trip to Venice. We enjoyed the day on the boat and seeing the other islands. Francisco was very personable and gave us very good information. We would definitely recommend this trip.
