I showed up early and they had no idea what I was talking about. I came back a second time 5minutes before the scheduled time and was told they don’t have a class. I was looking forward to this event and I’m disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

Disappointing. We only gave two coats of paint on the mask in the sections he drew. He told us how to clean the brush by dipping in water to change colors. I think most people would know that. The final step he decorated the mask. We hardly did anything. He didn’t even show us how he decorated the mask. Would not recommend

Fantastic tour with Simonetta!
Simonetta (spelling?) was great! It was really fun because she had great knowledge about Venice and her passion for her home was very apparent and respectful. Very happy we did this tour and would recommend!

The tour guide had wonderful information, was kind and very helpful. The 3 rating is given for two reasons. 1: My husbands virtual goggles, given in the tour office , didn't work but no one really tried to solve the problem, therefore he missed out on it all. 2: Tour guide spoke so quietly it was difficult understanding her.

Do not buy this one through Viator
The basilica is incredible bit the Viator deal is a scam. $75 for one adult and 2 kids. All you get is skip the line and a tour book. And you have to pay extra to see things once you get inside. Simply go the basilica and pay 3 Euro for the same thing. This was a total rip off by Viator.

Must Do!!!
Was such an amazing morning making masks with a master then he hooked us up with a glass demonstration and a list of fabulous places to eat!!! Definitely recommend this as a Venice must!!

A must do for an overview of Venice
Great overview of Venice and its history. Guide gave us information on local events and how to get around. Told us about extended hours on Doge palace and galaries.

Must-do!
Everything was smooth and easy to find/navigate. Elena, our tour guide, was awesome! I would have loved our gondola guide to talk with us, but he was super quiet! Maybe he was in training (red shirt). It’s a must-do in Venice!!

Dr. Boone and Wanda Boone Romantic getaway!
I enjoyed the intimate setting. I enjoyed the narrative guide from our captain and I especially enjoyed the scenery. I recommend this excursions.

Amazing San Marco - to see is to believe!
The meeting point is not in front of San Marco, but at the travel agency at the end of the the alley way on its left, i.e. Calle de Rasse. We feventually found it in the end, fearing a d streing tbat we're going to miss it. Our guide is a native Venetian and very informative. The tour was not very long, as we only did the San Marco & its terrace tour, not the Doge's palace, which suits our need as we've been travelling for nearly two weeks with sore feet. There's so much to see inside San Marco, and so a guided tour is the must do. Also, there're so many tourists at all time, even at 9:30 a.m. tour, the encluded skip a line & visit if the terrace is a true benefit. Highly recommended!

Avoid on weekends
The tour portion was interesting and the VR experience of what Venice used to look like was nice. The gondola ride though was not what you'd expect. To be fair we were there on a weekend (Fri/sat) and it's apparently busier then. There was people everywhere you couldn't walk down the alleys without touching people. So it should come as no surprise that the canals were the same. It was an exercise in how many gondolas can you cram into the canal. It was an eye opener that's for sure. I honestly wouldn't do this again, knowing what I know now. The gondola part that is. Best advice.. don't go on a weekend. Apparently during the week it's much nicer in Venice as it's not quite as crowded.
