Zu Beginn der Tour hat man uns mehr als 30 Minuten ohne Erklärung im Büro warten lassen. Es gab keine Entschuldigung. Es gab keine Erfrischung beim heissen Wetter. Dann hat man uns zum Guide hingebracht. Die gesamte Tour wurde stark gekürzt. Einige Aktivitäten wurden ausgelassen. Man hat uns uns selbst überlassen, die Tour des Gefängnisses zu machen. Es hat uns nicht gut gefallen.

L'agence de voyage est très pro et bien organisée, nous avons été très bien pris en charge. Ils ont été réactifs et disponibles. En revanche, la prestation du guide était très décevante, avec peu de documentation et d'approfondissement. Et la qualité linguistique de son français n'était pas exceptionnelle, le guide était même par moment difficile à comprendre. La prestation ne vaut pas ce prix là, autant prendre un audio-guide.

The tour was very well organized, and everything took place at the agreed time. We also had a great guide who explained a lot about the political organization of the Venetian system, guided us through the Doge’s Palace, and showed us the different rooms where the councils met, as well as the court and the police – all very well done. What I missed, however, was more information about how the Venetian Empire became so wealthy. What exactly did they trade? Of course, I know they mainly traded in spices, silk, and glass, but I would have liked to hear more about where these goods came from, what gave them their power at sea, and who their trading partners were. That part felt a bit too brief.
