The tour was wonderful. Informative and a great learning experience. Our guide Allegra was great. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional as well as our water taxi driver. Highly recommend taking the private tour. Allegra made sure we had up front seating during the glass blowing demonstration - 5 star rating!

A rare and personal highlight of our time in Venice. Giorgio, our host, artisan, and teacher, welcomed myself, my wife, and our 13-year-old daughter into his workshop like old friends. Trained by his father and now passing the craft to his sons, Giorgio embodies a quiet pride in a tradition that still holds meaning today. The class was unrushed and deeply engaging. With warmth and patience, he guided us through the decorating process, interweaving stories of Carnival, Venice’s masked past, and the enduring relevance of anonymity in a city shaped by secrecy. Having the studio to ourselves made it all the more special. Afterwards, we stayed to chat and try on a dazzling array of masks. My daughter even chose a beautiful piece handmade by the family. In short: a rich, hands-on encounter with Venice’s artistic soul. Not just a souvenir, but a memory painted in gold and patience.

Was een beetje flauw minimaal rondje, eerste deel lagen weer bijna stil zonder dat er een boot of gondel voor ons was. Dit rondje had ook in 15 tot 20 minuten gekund. Iets creatiever rondje van een half uur was leuker geweest.
