Great gondola ride

Very good experience, for the most part very helpful and friendly staff. Ride was amazing. Did get lost in the beginning as their office gave me the wrong address.

Die ganze Führung war sehr oberflächlich und ging leider überhaupt nicht auf die wichtigen historischen Hintergründe ein. Angefangen hat die Misere mit dem Kommunikationssystem, das zunächst nicht und nach Austausch des gesamten Systems nur ganz magelhaft funktionierte. Öfters preschte die Führerin voraus, dass Teilnehmer Schwierigkeiten hatten, zu folgen und die Erklärungen zu hören. An anderen Stellen wurde viel Zeit mit unwichtigen Themen (was ist ein Beichtstuhl, eine alte Gondel, die Zusammensetzung der Mosaikplättchen im Dom, die Lieblingswaffe der Führerin im Palast) verbracht, wirklich wichtige Themen (z.B. Grund für den Bau des Doms, warum die besondere Form des Doms, die byzantinische Geschichte usw.) wurden übergangen, wie auch die Bedeutung der Löwensymbolik in Venedig. Fazit: Positiv - keine Wartezeit bei den Eintritten und die Möglichkeit, das eigene Wissen mit den Bildern vor Ort zu vertiefen. Negativ: wie oben beschrieben - das Geld hätte man besser anlegen können.
