Visit to Burano was lovely were it not for the enforced visits to biscuit & limoncello shops. We were promised 2 hours free time to have lunch and explore. We checked with the guide on the return departure time and we both heard him say 3.50pm. We returned to the departure point at 3.20pm only to find the boat had left at 3.15pm. Was that our fault for mis-hearing? Or the guide's mistake in not making it crystal clear?

The guide was espetacular but the travel it self doesn’t have enough time to explore the islands. 30 min more in each island would be great. So, my suggestion is, don’t eat in the restaurant in burano or see the glass thing in murano. Just go outside the boat and explore the place

I enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration and the stroll around charming Berano. The group size wasn’t too big, and the timing was well thought out.
