Super friendly service and great bikes. We got electric Cannondale bikes which had no problems getting up steep hills. Just be careful with the gears to avoid breaking a chain, so get the extra insurance for $10 just in case.

It was very easy to walk in and rent a bike. Lots of options (including eBikes and tandem bikes) and reasonably priced. Great location if you are wanting to bike up to the Golden Gate Bridge. Staff was very friendly and offered tips/advice which was nice for a novice like me!

We had the best time on our UB tour. Robert did such a fabulous job teaching us all about SF. He was so accommodating, professional, friendly & helpful. He answered all of our questions. We biked over the San Francisco Bay bridge (incredible experience) & all over downtown. I highly recommend UB tours & our guide Robert. We definitely recommend the electric bikes, as SF can be quite hilly.

Purchased a used bike from this store... they told me they shipped it about 10 days ago, but I still haven't received it. Tracking number provided does not show any ETA, and customer service was unhelpful. They tell me they "shipped" the bike, so their job is done.. irrespective of whether or when I receive it.

Although this was my first trip to SF, and I only had half a day to visit the city, this ride to Sausalito was truly memorable. Robert was the guide, and the group was an small group of just 3. This made for quite an intimate experience and felt is was flexible, yet guiding and Robert kept us in good hands. This ride was certainly worth its cost. What an incredible way to explore SF from this shop, along the bay recreation areas, across the bridge and into the small quaint town. I enjoyed lunch afterwards and rode the bike back with just enough time to make it to the Airport. Robert, thank you and hope to be back again!

Rented a tandem bike and explored the city. Friendly workers and bike was in great shape. Be prepared for a workout with all the steep hills! Definitely book the tandem online as their stock is lower than regular bikes.
