Bad experience - Rented 2 e-bikes over phone 1h prior to the rental. When we arrived at the shop, only one was available. Only alternative proposed was get regular bike or walk to Embarcadero (1h30) to maybe get another e-bike. Staff was rude. Average bike condition. We needed to ask to get a refund for the price difference btw e-bike and regular bike.

Best way to see the Golden Gate Bridge, my partner and I highly recommend to get an E-bike the hills on the way to the bridge can be quite steep. The guy behind the counter was super friendly I would definitely hire a bike from these guys again

Had a great experience renting the bikes here. I read the reviews about the batteries going flat for the e-bikes so I went for the traditional bikes. $16 for 2 hours, or $32 for 4 hours. You can also pay slightly more for a day rental. The staff was very friendly and he explained the procedure to us very thoroughly. They would need to keep a photo ID in exchange for the rental of the bikes and they take credit card (no contactless payment). There is an option to pay $4.99 for insurance, in case anything goes wrong with the bike. Once payment has been made, a receipt will be issued with the time that the bike needs to be returned. A chain will be provided to lock the bike should you need to make a pitstop. The location of the store is perfectly situated at the base of the climb towards the Golden Gate Bridge. If you are a fast rider and just want to snap a few photos along the way without stopping, 2 hours is sufficient. However, if you need to take several breaks (because of the upslopes), then pay for 4 hours. I didn't cross the bridge (stopped once I saw the bridge's first apex). Bikes were durable and light and easy to use. Would recommend! Once you're done, you can head down to Fisherman's Wharf for a meal or a drink. The bikes can also be rented via Klook but the prices are slightly overstated on that platform.
