My 11 yo son and I toured on a beautiful May day. Matt was our guide and it couldn’t have been a better experience. We had plenty of time at each memorial. Great for an older kid who is a solid rider on an adult bike. Would recommend and do again! Ask for Matt!

Rented an aluminum road bike. Took first one out, but came right back as the brake pads were worn out and bike wouldn't stop. Not at all safe in NYC traffic. Guys in shop were great, but they don't do any mechanical work. They brought out a second bike, but threads on cranks were stripped, so they couldn't fit my pedals. So they found a third bike. Brake pads were passable, just. After riding a couple of Central Park loops I decided the brakes were dangerous. I went into a shop on 106th street bought some and fitted them. Had the bike for a week and it was fine after that. Unfortunately, I neglected to save the receipt for the replacement pads and Unlimited Biking refused to reimburse me in spite of the obvious fact that I returned the bike in better condition than when they rented it too me. I even returned the old, worn out pads. See pics. Not a great place to rent a properly maintained road bike.

The tour was very beneficial and I learnt a lot of the berlin municipality, and maggi was such a great guide explaining the attractions with a little bit of his humor timed perfectly. All in all it was a great experience. My thanks fat tire tours team for this great expedition

Overall a good tour. Matthew was an excellent guide, very informative and helpful. Staff at the shop were a little rude and the bikes needed some attention.

We did a DC monuments at night tour & a NYC Central Park tour. In both cities are guides were fantastic & I think that is the strongest thing working in this company’s favor. Kyle in NYC & Noah in DC were great guides, personable & very good as ambassador’s for their respective cities. The bikes are average at best. In DC, the chains were coming off many of the bikes in our group. I get they can’t hand out Trek or Specialized bikes to everyone but they need to make sure what they have are well maintained. There were some other factors based on when we were in DC that I won’t get into but suffice to say the company should of known ahead of time & they probably should of rescheduled our tour as the “local experts”. They missed big time on that but our guide Noah was a trooper & did the best he could under extenuating circumstances. Kyle in NYC was outstanding as well, we felt like we truly were experiencing the city through the lens of a longtime local. He was also great with young teens making them feel engaged the entire time. Bottom line go with this company for the guides but suffer through mediocre bikes & customer service to do it.

This is a great way to explore the beauty and vastness of Central Park. Our guide, Dan, was very knowledgeable, funny, and took our safety and enjoyment very seriously. He provided an interesting history of the Park, he took multiple photos and videos of the riders, and he even played music from each state/country that the riders represented. This was definitely one of the best tours I've ever taken in my many years of traveling. Highly recommended!

Sandeep here, rented the bike from unlimited. Excellent machines, and superb service. Special thabks to Jamie to ensure we get all we need. Just travel to water loo station. Put big fat Tours on Google maps and you are at the best place to rent a nice ebike with zero hassles. Highly recommended

Had a fantastic cycle tour of Central Park with Dan! Dan goes way above and beyond, ensuring that everyone is made feel special along the way. He empowered us with so much knowledge, facts and fun information. The highlight was when he sat with a busker at Strawberry Fields and played his guitar and sang Yesterday. Vlad was the sweetest tour guide. It was a long hot day but there's no better way to visit Versailles and see all the grounds. Vlad was full of knowledge and patience. I loved the market where we bought our items for lunch and he had all the supplies needed. From napkins to a tarp to sit on for lunch, from flat tire repair kit to bandages for any mishaps, Vlad was prepared. Thank you for a great day. It's one to remember forever.
