Decided to do a guided bike tour in the belief that we would see and learn a lot more than a bus tour or simply walking, we were not wrong. As it happens, the two of us were the only ones on the 2hr afternoon tour which used the cycle lanes and we felt very safe. Our local guide Adrian was excellent and so knowledgeable about the history behind the monuments and memorials. As there were only us in his party he took us to see all the places on our itinerary with plenty photo opportunities. The Capitol Building, Washington Monument, The Lincoln, WWII, Korean War, Roosevelt, Jefferson and Martin Luther King Memorials were all visited with time to read the inscriptions and quotes from the past. Our final stop was The Whitehouse South Lawn which, as Adrian agreed, was not a patch on the view from the North side. All in all a fantastic way to start our trip and see the sights of Washington DC. Cannot thank Adrian enough and should you ever meet him, tell him Hi from Eddie & Pam from Durham, UK

Our NY highlights tour on bikes with Benjamin was brilliant and will be the highlight of our trip. Benjamin was informative and knowledgeable - great learning some of the stories behind the stories. Would highly recommend and ask for Benjamin to be your guide!
