Exceptional Rome Experience with Fat Tire Tours When in Rome, you’re surrounded by history at every turn—but how you experience it makes all the difference. Our Segway tour with Fat Tire Tours was, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip. First, the concept is perfect—covering a tremendous amount of ground without exhausting yourself. Rome is incredible, but it’s also big, crowded, and full of hills. The Segway allowed us to glide effortlessly between iconic landmarks like Aventine Hill, the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, and Capitoline Hill—all while staying fresh and fully engaged. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was our guide, Daniele. Daniele struck that rare balance of being incredibly knowledgeable while also being approachable, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend time with. His passion for Rome was obvious, and he brought the city’s history to life in a way that never felt like a lecture—more like a great conversation with someone who loves what they do. He also did an outstanding job managing the group—ensuring everyone felt comfortable on the Segways, navigating the city safely, and timing our stops perfectly for both storytelling and photo opportunities. Speaking of which, the scenic viewpoints he selected gave us some of our favorite photos from the entire trip. If you’re visiting Rome and want to see the highlights efficiently, comfortably, and with real insight, I cannot recommend this tour enough. And if you’re lucky enough to get Daniele as your guide, you’re in for something special. Bottom line: A fun, informative, and unforgettable way to experience Rome. Worth every minute.

We did a guided bike tour in Paris with Yaro, and it ended up being a memorable part of our trip. Yaro was knowledgeable without sounding scripted-he blended history, local insight, and humour in a way that kept everyone interested. He was a total babe..... :) Riding through Paris on this Monday evening was exciting, but at times the streets were very busy and a bit hectic, which could feel overwhelming if you're not used to city cycling. That said, Yaro did a great job guiding us through it safely and keeping the group together. I might suggest bright vests for the entire group on a busy day like it was. Overall, a fun and unique way to experience the city.

(Translated by Google) We rented two bikes. Mine worked fine, but my husband's had trouble shifting gears. Furthermore, we would have preferred electric bikes, but they don't offer them to their customers, which is a shame.
