HORRIBLE experience trying to rent two e-bikes in NYC. After speaking directly to the local store, I made a reservation on their website, paid in full, and received a confirmation # and email from Unlimited. Less than two weeks later, and only 3-4 days before my reservation, I received a text and call stating that my reservation would be CANCELED unless I paid 3x(!!) what I had already paid. Local management had decided to reallocate bikes and close locations for a local cycling event -- which happens every year and had been scheduled for MONTHS in advance. I've almost never seen ANY business deal with NO INTEGRITY like this -- canceling my confirmed reservation while trying to extort an additional $3-400 from me. Shameless!
