Like any good tourist, we don't carry our original ID around for fear of losing it… He then asked us to give him our credit card… what a strange request! And the PIN too?!?! After he refused to provide copies of our documents and our hotel pass, and with no solution being found, we requested a refund. This gentleman agreed… and refunded us only the dollar we paid as an additional fee. He then deducted one activity from our Explorer Pass (x3), which we lost. It's robbery! Unlimited Biking charged us, and we didn't even get to use the bikes! I wondered why they were so insistent on booking before explaining anything; now I know! Après être passé en boutique hier et ce jour, les employés de Unlimited Biking ont insisté pour que dans un premier temps nous effectuions notre réservation en ligne avant de voir tout autre chose. Une fois la réservation faite, la personne présente ce jour nous a indiqué que pour pouvoir récupérer les vélos il fallait laisser notre pièce d’identité originale qu’il allait conserver le temps de la réservation. Comme tout bon touriste nous ne nous baladons pas avec nos papiers d’identité originaux pas peur de les perdre… Il nous a alors demandé de lui laisser notre carte bancaire… quelle drôle de demande!! Et le code aussi ?!?! Après qu’il ait refusé la copie de nos papiers, le pass de notre hôtel et aucune solution ne voulant être trouvée nous avons demandé le remboursement. Ce monsieur a accepté… et nous a remboursé uniquement le dollar payé en tant que frais annexe. Il nous a donc décompté une activité de notre Pass Explorer (x3) que nous avons perdu. C’est du vol! Unlimited Biking se fera payé et nous n’avons pas profité des vélos! Je me demandais pourquoi ils étaient si insistants sur la réservation avant de nous expliquer quoi que ce soit, maintenant je le sais! Sur 3 séjours à New York c’est vraiment ma pire expérience. Fuyez!
