Great experience. Fair pricing, easy online reservation, and friendly service. Two of the folks in our party hit traffic so we ended up leaving 20 minutes late for our reservation and they told us we could come back 2 hours from when we left. The bikes were in good shape and they helped us all adjust our seats before we left. Highly recommended.

The bikes were great, the "security deposit" was not. I was told they needed a $200 security deposit as with a car rental or hotel that would be refunded whe we returned the bikes. No problem, I said Fully expected. Then when I returned the bikes, I was told I had to submit my receipt to some email address. NOT like a car rental or hotel. Screams SCAM. What if I forget? Too bad, your problem. What if it isn't returned? Shrug. Now I have to follow up and make sure my money is refunded. I took time to submit my receipt, time stolen from me, and now two days later I still don't have my deposit back. If you like dealing with a business that misleads you up front and has a high friction process that puts the onus on you to get a big deposit returned which as far as I know may never happen, this is your place. We experienced the opposite of a good customer experience and may end up having to contest their deposit charge to get our money back. Their process seems designed to cheat customers out of their deposits in a way they can claim it's the customer's fault. I expect this is a prohibited deceptive/negative billing practice under California consumer protection legislation law; a disappointing stain on what otherwise seems a great business and service.

Exceptional experience! Booking online made it easy so I just had to show up and get the bike. The store is located right next to the ferry terminal which made a trip over to Coronado easy. Helmet and lock was provided. Owner was lovely to deal with and he keeps his bikes in excellent condition.
