Great bike tours in Berlin! Berlin is very flat and very suited for biking and have a great infrastructure for bicycles as well. Fat Tire offer many different tours in Berlin and even one in Potsdam! The guides are very funny and interesting. Learned a lot about Berlin from their tours, had a great time biking in Berlin with Fat Tire. Very recommended!

I am an unfit woman of a certain age and was unsure how a full day on a bike would be. It was wonderful. The group was mixed ages, abilities and nationalities as you might imagine, singles and couples mostly on the one I was with - no small children. The guide was loud, clear, i nteresting and kept track of eveyone of all abilities and no one felt lost. Berlin is a beautiful and fascinating city (and not very hilly) and this is a great way to see it. The bikes they use at Fat Tire Bike Tours were wonderful for unfit me - comfy seat, smooth ride, enough gears to make the ride a doddle. Highly recommend.

's in a prime location... YES, though a bit difficult to actually find amidst all that seaport confusion. And don't bother calling because dude who runs the place offers NO help in locating him but rather repeat the address to you as if you were a tard. The bikes were scarce on a Saturday. Helmets? There were none. Baskets? None. Actually everything the reservation promised, except for the bike, wasn't there. The guy was frantic and quite rude, never cracking a smile despite the very hilarious jokes my crew was cracking. Live a little dude. "You're working alone?!" Yeh. "So you need help?" Nah I'm good. Whoa buddy. Hey owners- get one more employee.

Bike and Roll is awesome and a great way to see the DC sites by bike or Segway. Even if you live in the DC area can learn something new by the guided tour. You can also just rent a bike as well. The Mall area of DC is quite large so this is a great and fun way to get around.

My husband and I traveled to three countries in Europe and both wholeheartedly agree that our Fat Tire Night Bike Tour was our favorite experience. The tour was fun, safe, and in our opinion the best way for an English-speaker to see Paris light up and come alive at night. Would recommend to anyone in the area and would love to try other Fat Tire tours in the future.

I purchased the sightseeing tour however when I arrived they said the tour was cancelled and they said 'I could still just use the bike for the same time frame'. I inquired on why it was cancelled and they had no reason. WELL....I paid for a tour and ended up using their uncomfortable bike for two hours peddling around on my own. They tried to give me a really crappy bike with split seat and broken pedal but I told them I wanted a better bike. I was a little peeved at their lack of service. The bridge is quite a ride from their rental location so make sure you clearly understand how to get there. I am still glad I got to ride the bridge, even if it was on my own.

It was a cold day but we've done 3 segway tours and Paris was by far the best compared to Barcelona and Madrid. Ben was fun and super informative. I felt I had a good grasp of the cities history after all was said and done.

My husband and I have taken 10 tours with Fat Tire, both bike tours and their Classic Walks tours. We cannot say enough about how wonderful the experiences have been. We first took a walking tour of Paris to familiarize ourselves with the city. Next we took the Night Bike Tour--loved going by the Louvre in the still of night and the boat ride (with wine) was fun. The trip to Versailles by bike allows you to see so much more than you would have just visiting the palace. Monet's Gardens were in full bloom. We walked through Montmarte with a guide the first time we were in Paris, and with the information provided by our guide we were able to lead friends on our own walking tour the next we were in the area. While in London we started with a walking tour (at night) along the south bank and stopped for fabulous fish and chips. The Royal Bike Tour the next day took us to totally different places. As you can tell by counting the trips, we book repeat tours with Fat Tire. The experience is wonderful from the booking (on line and in the office) to the knowledge of the guides. These tours can be done by any age and most fitness levels. Try them!

Like others, I wasn't hot on "touring" and didn't care to try the Segway, but somehow, the whole is more than the some of its parts, especially since Marriette was a fantastic guide! She knew all of our names while we were practicing and made the experience fun. On the tour, the information she told us was original and not at all boring. Kudos to a company that has done things right. They rent bikes, too.

I was really pleased with Fat Tire's Versailles tour, as well as the day bike tour… went with some friends and we all had a great time! The guides were friendly, witty and very knowledgable. It was a great way to see a lot of Paris in a short amount of time, with the added bonus of getting to ride a bike through the streets. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased - we had hoped to do a night bike tour which we heard were awesome, but we didn't have time. Definitely recommend Fat Tire!!

Open every day of the week. Decent bikes for decent prices. Barcelona city has its own bike rental system, which is no use to tourist and this shop is the best alternative. I stayed over a week and rented a citybike for a week and these are robust and reliable. Barcelona has a grid of bikelanes and outside the city there are many bikeroutes in the hills. You can take any bike with you on public transport (except rush hours), so in 30 min you can be on your bike uphill sweating. Just what you need after a night out on the town!
