Easy to set up a rental, it was going to rain the day I had planned to do the Mt Vernon ride from Alexandria. No problem switching to the next day. Equipment in good shape, John helpful. The ride was lovely, about 20 miles up and back… not bad for an old chick! Mt Vernon pkg worth it, MV is very interesting with a fabulous view of the Potomac. GW had an eye for a great place to set up his household.

What an amazing tour. The whole process was very organized and professionally run. Our guide, Dan, provided so much interesting information along the way and took us on an amazing route through the park! I would highly highly recommend it to anybody visiting Manhattan!

Did the Cold War tour with Nate and the Fat tire tours company and what a great tour it was. Nate gave us a great understanding of what went on in Berlin after the war and the history surrounding the wall. Very knowledgeable, great bits of history, story telling and a chance to cycle around parts of Berlin you may otherwise miss. Totally recommend doing one of their tours. 😁😁😁👍👍👍

What a great way to cross the Brooklyn bridge! We booked this tour before we left the UK and followed the instructions in the email for address etc. The guys in the shop were most pleasant and helpful and our guide John was a lovely bloke with a wealth of knowledge. He took us to a few different areas on both sides of the bridge and gave us lots of local history information, we certainly saw places we would have not found otherwise and stopped for lots of photo opportunities. As I am not the fittest of people due to various ailments and maybe an ebike would have been best for me but my hubby and the others on the tour managed it fine. We both totally recommend this tour

Did the Royal London bike tour on the weekend just gone as a pre-booked christmas present. The whole thing was well organised and planned out. Due to the Jubilee preps we didn't get to experience the tour fully, but that was made up for massively by our tour guide Daniel. He was extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm made the tour brilliant. If I had a history teacher like him in school, I probably would have paid more attention.... Thank you for a brilliant experience Daniel!

Seth was a fabulous cycle tour guide - we can’t thank him enough for his knowledge, humour and friendliness. We are a family of four with children age 16 and 13 and we all loved it ! We did the 6 hour bike tour of Berlin and had a great time! Alicia was a great guide - funny and informative - and she kept an eye on us to make sure no one got left behind. She was happy to answer questions and had a great attitude. Berlin is such an amazing city with a very complicated history…and she was able to break it down and “untangle” the different story lines. The routes were easy biking, even for beginners, and Berlin feels like a pretty safe city to explore on bike, so I would definitely recommend it. We love Fat Tire Bike Tours and are looking forward to our next one in Florence!

We walked in and rented bikes for 4 hours. The lady working the counter said they had no locks. We asked "what if we go into a restaurant or museum?" And she recommended we just... Figure it out with the museum? Take the bikes in with us? 😵‍💫 So we tried, then pretty quickly realised it wasn't going to work. We went to another shop to rent a lock, took about 20 mins. We brought the bikes back 4 hours and 20 mins later and she tried to charge us for 5. I said "no, your rental includes locks and you gave us none, it was a hassle, please waive the extra charge". She said "Hm, well, this computer makes it tough to waive it. Is it OK if I just charge you anyways?" 🤔 No

We (my wife ,2 kids and I) did a tour of the Eiffel tower on Saturday evening with Amir (I think it was Amir, if I'm wrong I very sorry) and it was the highlight of our week in France. I would totally recommend booking this tour, especially when you skip the massive queues to access the lifts. Amir was fantastic with just the right balance of info, fun and timing and he managed to keep our 11 and 7 year old's attention. He's also very handy with a phone camera. Thanks Amir

We really enjoined our trip, the bike we’re in perfect condition and the people there were very kind. We bought a New York Pass and a trip in each station (Brooklyn, Central Park and Harlem) are included (4 hours).

Our daughter was supposed to come to Washington DC for a senior trip in 2020 with the rest of her senior class. However, this was canceled due to Covid. We were able to bring her two years later and thoroughly enjoyed the Segway tour! I do wish it would’ve started a little bit later as sunset didn’t occur until about 8 o’clock and tour ended around 8:30. We weren’t really able to see the monuments lit up at. If our trip was earlier or later in the year we would’ve been able to see the monuments lit up. Even though we still thoroughly enjoyed the Segway tour! It’s a great way to see a lot of things in a small enough time. Our tour guide, Joe Brady, did an awesome job at making us all feel comfortable on the segways and navigating through DC. He was very knowledgeable about what was included in the tour plus things that were not! He also provided plenty of time to stop at different sites/memorials. I thought we would get back to them later however, we did not get make it back to most of them and so I am thankful that we were able to take this tour.

I highly highly recommend this experience! I only had a day to take in DC and this was so perfect. I kept saying to myself I couldn’t believe it was only $54 for what I was getting. I wish I packed a snack (banana or nuts) and was happy I brought a small backpack to carry extra water and my wallet (the pouch can really only fit a phone and keys). Those were my two biggest takeaways. I also recommend making sure small children can take direction quickly and can be ready to handle street intersections. I’d absolutely do this again and am so grateful I found it! All staff were so nice and accommodating.

I reserved two e-bikes for an entire day and when I arrived in the morning on the day of, I was told that they were out of bike locks for the day. The store was still very full of bikes, so they must not carry many at all. A lock is one of the specifically listed items that come with a rented bike and I would consider possibly the most important. I was offered an email address for a refund. I instead went to a local bike shop and purchased a lock. Once on the bikes, we discover the brakes hardly stop at all and were screaming noise the whole time. They had obviously not been serviced or inspected and were at a dangerous point, since San Francisco is all steep hills. Overall, a pretty awful experience.

We took the Versailles bike tour and loved it. Our guide was informative and personable. The bikes, which are 3-speeds, were comfortable and held lots of goodies from the market. One of the highlights of our trip to Paris for sure.
