This bike tour was a highlight of our entire 2 week trip in Europe. Our tour guide Dan was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He answered questions and provided helpful tips about the city as we biked along. We did this tour on our first day in the city and would highly recommend the same! It was great to get our bearings in a new city and we used many of Dan’s tips through the rest of our time in Munich. It gave a great high level overview of the city and was paced well. Neither of us are avid city bikers but felt very comfortable with the pace and roads we were biking on. The lunch stop was great - it was helpful to try our first biergarten with guidance and the drinks and food were delicious! Overall we highly recommend Dan and this tour!

It was our first time visiting NYC, we rented 4 bikes from this company hoping to bike around Central Park, However, our experience wasn't good at all! It took us forever (more than an hour) to get our bikes. By the time we arrived Central Park, and started biking (for like 2 min). 2 of the bikes' chains fell down several time. We were able to fix one bike, but not the other. We ended up spending another half hour to walk back to the store and returned our bikes! It was completely a waste of time, and really ruined our afternoon in NYC! If we knew the quality of the bikes were that bad, we would not come to this store! Also, the staff at the 57th location was so rude to my husband. His bike didn't have the kickstand, and the staff asked him to go to the 57th location to swap. When we arrived, my husband asked politely, and the staff just yelled at him and said NO! We really regret getting our bikes from this store!

My boyfriend and I took a Central Park tour and Dan was our guide. It was great! Dan was very knowledgeable about all of the sites and kept the tour engaged and interested. Glad we did this tour, it's a great way to see and learn about the history of Central Park.

We were in a group at the DC location on the waterfront on 10/25 led by Shane. The tour was well paced. Our apprehension about riding in traffic was set aside as we never were in the street except to cross over them. Great paths throughout the tour. The tour was accurately stated with the stops mentioned. It was the in depth knowledge of Shane that made the experience so enjoyable. The stops to see the monuments was adequate. We took a Viator Historic Tours of America trolley night tour later in the week and saw the same venues but the narrative was not as detailed as Shane's. Besides, poor lighting at some monuments ex. WW2 made photography futile.

Loved our tour of Central Park on. A gorgeous, sunny, chilly fall day. Dan was a great tour guide, sharing his knowledge and love of New York with all of us and even playing music specially picked for each of our towns. It was a wonderful introduction to New York and made me want to come back for more.

Cannot speak highly enough about this tour. I’ve been on many Fat Tire tours across Europe, and they are always excellent, but our Florence guide (Guido) was one of the best. Knowledgeable, passionate about his subject, and charming. Would highly recommend.

Guido was nothing short of a BRILLIANT tour guide. He was passionate about his topic and also engaged his audience through telling personal stories that emphasized the historical content he was imparting. I have been on many tours, and Guido’s, by far, is the memorable one to date. If you want “the personal touch” combined with a lyrical delivery, this is the tour for you! Did this tour at the end of a 3 day stay,my tip would be to do it at the beginning.As the knowledge and insight from our guide Brian was incredible,it massively helps you decide what is and isn't worth seeing.There was not a single question that Brian didn't have the answer to,about the city and the artwork.Easy to cycle around and great fun,would highly recommend you try it,a great way of seeing a city if you are tight on time.
