The Underground Donut Tour is a great introduction to Chicago! It was my first time coming to this city, I wanted to do something fun for my birthday and it truly was a great experience! When you book your ticket, come ready to learn insightful and amusing anecdotes about architecture, historical figures, and cultural icons. My tour guide was Jackson, who was super informative, has a great sense of humor, and overall awesome demeanor. Definitely follow his advice around the different donut flavors & understanding your limits. You will eat a ton of donuts. Dress in layers (according to the most recent weather reports). Wear comfortable shoes. Be prepared to have an engaging morning jaunt! I'm looking forward to bringing my friends with me on another tour the next time I'm back in town.

Emily was our tour guide for today's tour and she was amazing. Not only did we get a food tour but we also got a history and architecture tour of the Garden District. She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Also, we let the tour know it was my birthday and our mini honeymoon and she gave me a small birthday gift which was so generous!

While some of the items were sold out and one store was closed for the holidays, we still had a very enjoyable time with Christine. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and knew how to tell a story. I will say, if you’ve already done a walking tour of Scotland you might want to skip this as it covers quite a few of the same stories. But, why not make this your walking tour and get some sweet treats too! Would definitely recommend.
