The ride was wonderful...
The ride was wonderful and we didn't miss being on the Grand Canal at all. It would easily have been a 5 star excursion if the transition from the gondola to the dock had been safer. The water was choppy and there should have been a staff person to assist. If a bystander had not helped it would have been even worse.

The ride itself was great. The gondolier was on his phone and was not very interactive with us, so that changed the experience. They did let us go 30 min early which was nice.

Underwhelming
Not one word was said by the gondolier. He didn’t take us down the small, charming canals, but rather unused, not as scenic canals. (one circle) He also cut our ride short by 13%. Just not what I expected based on the description.

Peaceful gondola ride
Wonderful 30 minute gondola ride without going along the Grand Canal. We paddled slowly along quiet canals and didnt see another gondola.
