An incredible market tour and cooking class! We learnt a lot and made some delicious food. Alice was fantastic, very knowledgeable and fun. Absolutely recommend.

Lidia hat sowohl den Mercato del Capo gut präsentiert und gab einen hervorragenden Eindruck vom Leben auf dem Markt. Anzeichen, auf was man bei frischem Fisch achten muss inklusive. Der Kochkurs selbst war sehr entspannt und lehrreich. Wir haben köstliche Pasta, Arancine und Cannoli hergestellt. Ich empfehle den Kurs sehr gerne weiter.

Wonderful Class

Great short walk to the outside market. Fun class making arancini, cannoli, and ragu. Easily understood in English. Small class of just four people. Elvira was a great instructor. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Pizza Partaay!

This class is so much fun that I took it again this year on my trip to Florence. Fortunately, Fredico P was, once again, the instructor. His knowledge and humour ensured that everyone had a great evening and a delicious pizza. To say that the gelato we made was amazing would be an understatement; we even enjoyed second helpings of the decadent Florentine delight. You won’t be disappointed with Fredico’s course. PS: Federico has excellent taste in music as well as food.

Deliziosa!

Delicious! We had a wonderful time with Chef Federico P. He was entertaining, funny, helpful and patient. We learned how to make pizza dough, and gelato. Chef was patient when making suggestions on how to prepare the dough. We were not experienced and he taught us well. Federico was so kind to my daughter and she even got to assist him when making the chocolate gelato. He gave us specific directions regarding making gelato at home - which will definitely come in handy when we return home. Chef made positive suggestions of what to do and what not to do when making both the pizza and gelato! He gave excellent advice. We hope to plan another cooking class with Towns of Italy while in Rome! Thank you, Mille Grazie!

Alfredo was super patient and gave really clear instructions. His colleague made sure everything stayed clean during the workshop and the pizza and Gelato was magnificent, I feel part Italian already.

Marcello did a great job teaching us how to make our pizzas. My 12 year old son loved the experience and making the gelato made it even better.

Crazy cooking with crazy folks from the US.

The location is convenient to central Florence. The staff was very professional and made the course fun and informative. The techniques taught can easily be accomplished at home by anyone with minimal cooking skills. The wine was excellent and plentiful but we learned to not inhale while taking a drink because red wine doesn’t pair well with the dough (Both Chefs that night will understand ). The food we prepared was cooked to perfection by the staff and presented beautifully. Our group of four had such a great time that we’d do another class without hesitation. Thanks to both Chefs Thomas and Antonio.

A comprehensive tour of historic Palermo

Renata was an incredible tour guide! She was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the history of the area and provided many recommendations of historic buildings to further explore, restaurants and other local attractions. Be aware that it is 3 hours of pretty much solid walking at a reasonable clip so you must be in relatively good physical condition to participate. Also, because there are so many historic buildings to see in Palermo, there is not sufficient time on the tour to go inside all but one building. I recommend this tour for the first day that you are in Palermo and then plan to have 1 or 2 spare days to further explore the things pointed out during the tour. Highly recommended!
