A fun time

Our whole family had a very nice time. My wife and three teenage sons really enjoyed the class. Frederico was a very friendly and helpful “head chef” for us. This was certainly a touristy thing to do, but we really enjoyed the change of pace and hands-on lessons.

So much fun to cook in Italy!

I highly recommend this experience! We have done cooking classes before and this one rocked! Chef Roberta is funny, energetic, and skilled. She quickly earned our respect and built rapport with us. We started out by visiting the nearby Central Market, which was an awesome window into Italian produce and food-related products. We lingered at a stall where we got to taste extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and truffles. We then returned to class to make a Bolognese, pasta dough for two types of pasta dishes (ravioli and tagliatelli), kale-based pesto (basil was not yet in season), and tiramisu. Roberta had many helpful tips and great control over the class, and allowed enough opportunity for interaction among the group, who were seated on bar stools around tall tables, that we formed friendships over the course of the 5-hour session, partly with the help of free chianti. We were only in Florence for 3 nights, but this was time well-spent!

Amazing life experience

Our guide were Lorenzo - he was super informative & friendly. We enjoyed every single minute in all wineries. It was the first expierience for my best friend in Italy winery and she love it. Such a good expierience. Highly recommended.

Did a tour of The Uffizi with Greta. After an initial mix-up with the starting point, our guide, Greta, put together the most outstanding 2.5 hours. She listened to what interests the two of us, and educated and educated us over and over again in the best ways possible. She was worth every dollar charged. And we chose to leave her a good tip. Because she was simply terrific. As you can tell, I'm recommending.... Enjoy.

Het was geweldig leuk om met z'n 2e in zo'n klein autootje door Rome te rijden. Je moet niet bang zijn, want Rome is lekker druk qua verkeer. Maar de gids was echt heel goed. hij plaatst een tablet waardoor we contact hebben met elkaar en hij houd heel goed in de gaten of we nog achter elkaar zitten. Echt een hele leuke ervaring en een aanrader.
