Amazing experience lovely guide Anna. Really worth doing and very passionate. We both had a great time and learning about the sauces was great as many other classes didn’t offer this. Gelato demonstration was good and actually talked about how we could make it at home without the machine!

This pizza and gelato class was one of the highlights of my trip! Our instructor, Lisa, was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable—she kept us laughing while making even the trickiest steps feel easy. Rolling and topping my own pizza was so satisfying, and watching it come out perfectly crisp and bubbling felt amazing. The gelato segment was just as magical: learning how it’s made and what sets gelato apart from ice cream was fascinating, and tasting it fresh was unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I can’t recommend this experience enough—it’s the perfect way to share a meal, learn something new, and meet wonderful people. By the end of the night, I felt like I’d made genuine friends who will stay in touch long after Florence.

We did the Fiat Topolino experience with Haider as our guide. First, the meeting point in Florence was easy to find & centrally located. Then, the bus to get to the departure point for the tour was very close by, very comfy & well-appointed. The Topolino was clean, comfortable, & really fun to drive. Bonus, taking the Topolino instead of a Vespa means that if it rains, you still get to drive instead of needing switch over to a van tour. For the tour, Haider drove ahead of us in his own Topolino & we followed behind. The vistas were spectacular the whole way along, & there were some really nice scenic stops along the way as well, including a visit to the town of Greve. Haider was lots of fun, and wow can he ever take nice photos! I wouldn’t call it a wine tour but rather a tour with a tasting & dinner at the end, but that isn’t a complaint. The tasting was really nice (should’ve had bigger samplings tho lol), & the winery where we had dinner was beautiful & the dinner was delicious :)

Tour war ok. Viel gelernt haben wir, um ehrlich zu sein, nicht. Man läuft ein bisschen die kleinen Gassen ab, kriegt ein paar Insider Infos und wird in einen Olivenöl Laden gebracht, wo man ca auch noch mal 20 Minuten verbringt und das Gefühl bekommt am Ende etwas kaufen zu sollen, auch wenn die Inhaberin super lieb, authentisch und freundlich war. Bitte erhofft euch nicht allzu viel Wein auf der Tour, so wie wir ;-) Am Ende gibt es lediglich ein Gläschen zum Abschied.

Such a lovely cooking class, very casual and fun! Our host was kind, well-educated and also funny - his motto „don‘t panic“ made you feel less of a beginner and the atmosphere was really relaxed and laid-back. Loved getting to know the little secrets and insights as well as sharing the „homemade“ meals together. Also educational on the differences between ice cream, gelato and sorbet.
