Fascinating Tour of Roman Ruins
This was an amazing tour that was probably the highlight of our trip to Rome. Our tour guide, Enzo, is extremely versed in Roman history and archaeology and shared the most fascinating facts and insights about the Roman people and the structures we toured. Enzo was very engaging and energetic and the 3 hours flew by. Anytime you can skip the line in Rome is worth what you pay but this tour is well worth the money.

We had a small group tour with Enrica. Couldn’t be more satisfied. She was so knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back to explore the area further. The Roman Forum has so much to see.

First of all I need to mention that the tour guides are extremely informative. They tell you fun stories and detail descriptions of many different things. The overall tour structure is good, we gor a lot of time to see key things. My only complaint is some things felt rushed, and there wasn't enough breather time to take it in a bit and maybe take some pictures. The worst one for this was the Sistine Chapel. Yes you're not supposed to take any pictures here nor talk loudly, but we moved passed this very quickly with barely enough time to really take it in. If we were given a couple more minutes extra it would've been great. Also, for the St peters Bascillica we were given a lot of time. However, I wish the guide explained before we exited that you cannot reenter the bascilica. If given the choice to, since this was near the end of the tour anyways, I would've broken away to climb the dome on my own. But because I didnt know you had to enter the long queue if you exited the bascillica, I had to give up on my plans. This kind of info would also help those who may have forgotten to take some pictures, especially traveling couples, to take some for memory. Overall that was just the biggest thing for me for making this perfect. Besides that everything else was really nice. Maybe pace it a bit more in favor for travelers who want to take it in as well as allow for some photo opportunities, maybe not at literally every stop but at least in key areas like the Bascilica

I booked this tour specifically to see the Raphael rooms since the last Vatican tour I took skipped them. The tour description explicitly stated the Raphael rooms would be viewed but the tour guide elected to skip them because they “were too far.” False advertising and a major disappointment.

Worth every penny~
We wanted to visit Vatican City/The Sistine Chapel but were overwhelmed thinking of navigating the crowds and lines. Booking a private tour with Through Eternity was the BEST decision we ever invested in! The guides maneuvered us skillfully past the lines and to all of "the" spots we wanted to see!

Amazing Vatican visit
This private tour was perfect! Francesco was a very knowledgeable guide who allowed us to pace ourselves. He took the time to answer questions and provide background for much of what we saw. This was absolutely worth the time and cost.
