Very enjoyable
We were very pleased with our experience. The captain was very knowledgeable and shared local history (he was born in Greenwich). Very clean comfortable boat. Plenty of time to take pictures. Boat has toilets and a bar. We would definitely do it again.

Easy boarding
Jump the line smoothly with this ticket. It’s worth it and the boat is nice with a bar and clean restrooms. Speakers voice was clear and easy to understand.

it's still as fascinating as ever.
It's supposed to be a boring Monday today, but instead of taking the subway on my way home, I hopped on an Uber Boat. And man, I got to see this gorgeous sunset all the way! It felt like I was a tourist again, which I haven't felt in ages. I took this same route over three years ago. Comparing to back then, my state of mind has changed a lot. But London, it's still as fascinating as ever.

funny and Informative Tour
The boat tour was excellent, the live commentary was funny and informative. The boat was comfortable. The drawback was the snack bar. Going towards Greenwich the snack bar only to credit cards for beverages over 5 pounds (all the alcohol), otherwise, cash only. Going away from Greenwich, no credit card payment at all. The only cash I even got out on the trip was 10 pounds for a tip, so I had no money. I would have enjoyed a snack and would have spent at least 5 pounds to get one. The guy on the dock near the eye was pretty great and i had a nice conversation with him as well. Greenwich looked really cool, but I went on a late boat and could only stay about 1/2 hour. I would recommend at least an afternoon there.

It's really comfortable to blow by the Thames.
The Uber Boat is like a water bus with a "pay as you go" system. I used Apple Pay to tap in when boarding and tap out when disembarking. I traveled 6 stops, and the fare was £9.50. I’m not sure if it’s charged by distance or a flat rate. How to find piers: Search for "pier" on Google Maps, and all piers will be marked. I scheduled the boat ride at the end of my day trip. After that, I headed to Victoria Coach Station to take a bus out of town. So I searched for a pier near Victoria Coach Station as my destination, with Covent Garden as my starting point. Route: Embankment Pier to Battersea Power Station; 6 stops in total, taking about 20-30 minutes. The direction is east to west, offering views of the London Eye and Big Ben at sunset. !! Make sure to head straight to the stern once on board—it’s the best spot for sightseeing! Note: Not all piers are on the same side of the river. For example, the Battersea Pier where I disembarked was on the opposite bank from where I boarded. Next time I ride, I plan to take it around dusk, after visiting St. Paul’s Cathedral. I’ll board at Tower Bridge and go to Millbank, also east to west. This section should be the highlight—about 5-6 stops, taking around 20-30 minutes excluding waiting time. The breeze on the Thames feels amazing! Traveling solo let me experience London even better.

Worth the Trip
The sightseeing cruise was a fantastic way to take in the beauty of London from the water. The tour guide was very informative, sharing great facts and stories along the way. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. I would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the city!

This was the perfect excursion for my elderly parents and me. We appreciated the commentary and learned quite a bit. and Greenwich, we found food trucks and enjoyed lunch.

Nothing to complain about. The boat was on time, the tour guide was very funny and his commentary was informative.
We took the boat to get to Greenwich so it was a means of transport but it was an experience in itself with it being a guided tour. The tour guide was exceptional. The boat wasn’t very full so it wasn’t crowded. It was on time and we boarded with no issues. I have zero complaints.

Yes, it is a nice trip with lots of views but no person gives any information. It might be nice to have someone to point out key things along the trip.

Old boat, Deadpan commentary, Good fun!
The boat is old with few amenities (there are toilets and refreshments, albeit coffee is instant from a jar) and yet this was an enjoyable trip, mainly due to the hilarious deadpan delivery of the Captain’s tour highlights. Not much outside space but we were glad to be inside as it was a wet day.

Crew member shouted at me because I pointed out someone jumped the queue🤣
Been on board for several times but today’s experience is terrible and horrific. 1. The boat had delayed severely(3:30’s boat and we only set off at 4PM) 2. So when we were in line, a family jumped the queue, by standing next to us than slowly move forward. 3. When the staff started to let us get on, I told him that this family jumped the queue, we came first. (I mean it’s not a big deal at all and I am not demanding anything but I feel like I do have the right to speak that out). However the next second he heard that he suddenly became very angry and he started to shouting at me: we have 170 seats on the boat. I just replied simply by is that the reason to jump the queue? So why are we having a queue at all if u can just not follow it? (He’s in his late 40s, 6’7 and around 90kg and I am a female in early 20s if you are wondering) It was terrific and scaring. I don’t think speak out the truth is a mistake, as the staff if you cannot keep good order at least you can have some self control and manner🤣I guess he was just in such a rush and thinking me wasting his time but dear god I did not cause their delay🤣 Ofc that family later cared me on the boat and started to curse me and saying they did not jump the queue, they came earlier, “we’ve been sitting there at 35” they said. Lol. Me and my family had been sitting there since 3:25, and than I stand up to queue in front of the gate. Literally mentally traumatising experience🤣

2 hour return cruise
Overall the cruise was pretty good. Didn’t start that way with google maps,(opened in the confirmation email) sending us to the London Eye Pier instead of the Westminster Pier, causing us to miss the booked cruise. When explained to the staff what had happened, we were put on the next cruise. The cruise itself was entertaining & the guide (who kept reminding us (3x) he actually wasn’t a Tour guide & just staff on the boat so any tips would be appreciated) was entertaining & knowledgeable. The cruise ran to time with fully stocked bar & snacks. Would recommend

Great way to see the different sights of London! You get great views and you avoid the traffic while still being able to sightsee.
