London from the queen’s maritime highway.
A pleasant trip down the Thames from Westminster to Greenwich and back again. The crew members were at pains to point out they are not professional tour guides, but still do a great job of pointing out sites of historical interest. As a Londoner myself, I know our guide took some liberties with history, but can imagine that could be lost in some foreign visitors who might take things at face value and believe him. On board, the card reader at the bar wasn’t working, so it was cash only - meaning that we spent 2 hours aboard without a drink (which we would have wanted as the weather grew colder later on). On a nicer day, with a working card machine - this is a nice trip down the Thames. My advice would be, make sure your historical facts are accurate, learn some additional material so the journey back isn’t a repeat of the journey down, and get a back up card reader. 7/10

great tour
It was a great tour. We enjoyed it. Good tour guide. Scenic views and some comedy too! Great to get off for a walk around, or stay on for the whole ride.

Pleasant and informative trip
Our boat trip was very pleasant, the crew were helpful and there was a very good commentary by one of the start long the way, so we learnt a lot about London's landmarks and bridges.

sightseeing cruise in silence!
bit disappointed as the website and booking doesn't say the "enjoy our local skippers provide entertaining information about London’s history and its famous sights" is only in one direction i.e. only on half the cruises! So our trip from Tower Bridge to Westminster was in silence - not what we or our American friends were expecting.

Great views and commentary. Sit upstairs for best vantage point. Bring a rain coat as it does sprinkle. We went in late August.

Thames Riverboat Experience — lower your expectations
This experience was just ok. It was a slow ride pointing out a very few aspects of the city. In my opinion, if you walked or took an e-bike or scooter, it would have been better and less expensive for the price paid. I paid for a round trip ticket for my family and opted not to take the return trip back (only to see the exact same thing). If you choose this experience, book a one way trip and save your money or simply opt to walk/bike/take a scooter. I gave it a generous three stars.

The boat had a mechanical...
The boat had a mechanical issue so we had to disembark, the next boat held less passengers so we had to wait over an hour for the next one. The time on the boat was too short for the price of the ticket. I would not recommend this tour.

Relaxing trip to understand London
It is cool activity to take. We were relaxed for an hour during the trip and commentary was exceptionally good. Good experience with ticketing with Viator - we used them in France as well.

I have lived in London for 6 years , have been to Greenwich before but never by boat and I can say that I wish I had done this while I lived here. If you love London this is a must! If you are visiting London this is also a must 😎🏴 Great tour and comments from the captain.

Thames River cruise
Disembark at Greenwich if you have time....lovely town. Also the Trafalgar pub is a must. Worth the trip.

The people on the boat and on the pier are very nice and helpful. The commentary is interesting and humorous. We definitely recommend doing this tour. Worth the money!

Enjoyable and Relaxing
The cruise was relaxing and interesting. It was a fun way to see many famous sites and learn more history of London. Greenwich itself was fairly unremarkable and little to no direction was given about the area; where to go, what to do, how to get there.

A River Cruise with an entertaining crew
Want to hear a London accent? This is the place to come to. It's a simple river cruise with commentary provided by the highly knowledgeable crew. Very entertaining. Worth noting if your on the return (1hr), you return from Tower Bridge not Greenwich. A tad annoying but not a deal breaker. Got to see all the landmarks without breaking the bank with the crew providing handy tips for your future endeavours.

The river boat tour was...
The river boat tour was okay overall. I really liked that they gave us the chance to get off and explore, but there weren’t many restaurants or food options at the drop-off point. The highlight of the tour was definitely our guide—he was very funny and made the experience enjoyable

London Eye River Cruise
My Mum and I did the London Eye River Cruise and Ben was the tour guide. He was very jolly, informative and funny. It was well worth the money and we really enjoyed his stories, jokes and information about the buildings, bridges and places on each side of the Thames. 5 stars, well done Ben!
