Worth EVERY penny!

What a fun way to end my holiday in Sevilla. Ana and Leo were fantastic, not to mention a joy to work with! The market tour, hosted by Ana, was informative and I ended going back after class and spending a lot of money at the booths we visited. Relationships matter and it was clear that the relationship between the team at Taller and the vendors is a good one. It matters! When we got back to the studio, everything was ready for us to get working! Aprons, knives, cutting boards, all ingredients organized by dish. Leo was funny, patient, and kind while being a task-master (some of our participants wanted to chat more than chop! Hahaha!). We learned about some of his family connection to the dishes, which always warms my heart. Our menu included a gazpacho, the spinach and chickpea dish (I can never remember the official name), paella, finishing off with a yummy champagne sorbet cocktail, accompanied by wine. I had the spinach and chickpea dish during a tapas tour and didn’t like it. However, when we made it with Chef Leo, it changed my mind and is now one of my favorite dishes! Thank you Leo! Ana made a delicious Sangria. It was so good that my team drank the entire pitcher! :-) Our paella lesson was the highlight of the day and when we tasted it… OMG! SOOOOO yummy! I would HIGHLY recommend this experience. Come hungry because you will make a lot of delicious treats!

Our chef was so funny and helpful! He helped us make the dishes but also taught us general cooking skills and knife handling skills to keep us safe and use our tools with ease. Such a wonderful time and great learning experience!

loved everything about this tour! the market tour was great to hear more about the ingredients and the guides were fab! it was very interactive and we felt like we did make the food ourselves! i was vegetarian and the only one in the group, but i was still made to feel very welcome and got to make my own little veggie paella! highly recommend - one of our favourite parts about sevilla! would recommend heading to the market early and looking around and buying some things for breakfast beforehand (if you do the morning version)!

Authentic, informative, and fun

A wonderful time with excellent guidance. Food was delicious and it was so nice to learn the authentic ways of making the dishes. I hope to take more cooking classes like this.

The Spanish cooking class and dinner was a delightful experience. Chef Pedro and Anna were engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about Spanish cuisine. They shared a variety of tips and techniques for preparing authentic dishes, offering insights that were both practical and informative. The class was hands-on and interactive, making it easy to follow along and learn. From prepping fresh ingredients to mastering the timing of each dish, the entire process was enjoyable. There was plenty of food and drink to go around, and the sangria was especially delicious, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with a hint of cinnamon. One of the highlights of the evening was the paella. It was so flavorful and satisfying that I actually woke up the next morning craving it. The entire experience struck the perfect balance between fun and educational. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in Spanish cuisine or simply looking for a fun and memorable night out.
