Great overview!

Boat is a must do! Good value for the money. Buses ran frequently for the red line especially. Colorful also a must.

Don't be fooled by the price.

Awful. The tour company wasn't waiting at port when the ship disembarked, unlike the other two companies in Copenhagen. When we got on board, most passengers were happy to stay on board this bus & follow the 'Black tour' that was supposed to take 90 minutes ( this included some passengers of limited mobility). After 5 minutes on board, the driver announced that he was only acting as a shuttle bus to the 'Red tour'. Upon arrival at a stop in the city centre at 8:45, we all had to change buses. Once this bus set off, this driver informed us that there would only be 3 buses returning to the port at 90 minute intervals starting in 3 hours. This return bus would then basically follow the same route as we were now on, but then returning to the port around 3/4 of the way round, so meaning we would have then done the same tour route twice after a wait of over an hour for the return bus. Once the Red tour set off, we seemed to be doing nothing but being sat in traffic light queues going past concrete business hell buildings, including passing the same building (One.com) 3 times. After a very uninteresting 70 minutes on this tour, we got off at the first place worth seeing, but the experience had already been ruined & ended up getting an Uber back to port instead of another 20 minutes on the Red line, an hour sat waiting for the return bus in a not very nice looking area, this assuming the return, smaller bus, was not full & another 70 minutes doing the same traffic jam infested loop back to the ship on hard uncomfortable bus seats. We have done a similar tour in London previously, which was good, but this experience has put us off this company for any future tours. I would have posted photos as well, but there wasn't any worth taking as we all know that traffic lights are red, amber & green

3 hours on a bus for a 15 min drive

We left the ship at 9.30 and the hoho bus was a short walk away. We boarded and it left at 10 am. We were told that there was a small ship nearby so the bus diverted away to pick up around 10 passengers. With the drivers tannoy on we could hear that with everyone of those passengers the driver explained rhe bus and boat deal, the discount they could receive and tried to persuade each one of them to take the deal. After 20+ minutes of this we drove to the lLittle Mermaid where everyone had to get off and wait for another bus into Copenhagen. 15 minutes later we caught this bus and headed onwards. Copenhagen is a busy city with a lot of traffic lights but the slowness of the journey was compounded by the fact that rather than seeing sights we were stopping at numerous hotels to pick up passengers. No one could hop on or hop off because the bus was full and the number of people waiting at the bus stops was surprisingly large so no one was getting off. We arrived at the canal cruise at 12.30 and took the 1pm cruise. Three and a half hours from ship to boat. The cruise was excellent and thoroughly well run and presented. The last bus to the ship was 3.40pm and given the number of people on the hoho system and so few buses we took a taxi to the ship which cost 27 euros for the 4 of us and took 15 minutes. Needless to say the moral of the story is - Take the canal cruise but get a uber there and back.

Great to orientate yourself.

Excellent way of orientation for the city. Highly recommended to see many of thw sights in a relaxed environment. Guide was very funny.

Do not book it with Stromma. WAY TOO OVERPRICED, go to the one next to it, way cheaper. Also after you purchased the ticket, you can’t just canceled it, even if you can’t use it anymore.

There was much to see in Central Helsinki but the outer ares toured less so. The bus was comfortable with open roof on a nice day.

Boat was fine and driver...

Boat was fine and driver competent but canal tour nothing special. Guide was terrible. Spent more time doing comedy routine than explaining the sites we were seeing and Danish significance. Had hoped tour would introduce us to the things we might want to see and do in Copenhagen but instead was an annoying hour of guide insulting individuals and people groups. If we had wanted to see a rude comedian we would have gone to a comedy club. Definitely not as advertised.

Disappointing

Mu hubby and I both seasoned travellers but found this experience to be frustrating. Have done many HOHO and this was by far the worst. Was very complex on how to find a stop to get back to the ship. The instructions were very poor …..because there were so many lines that could taken. We ended up missing out on sites that we wanted to see. Would be great for the stops to be clearly marked. We wanted to get off at a specific spot but the driver left before we could get off. All in all a waste of time and money

An €80 difference!!! Outrageous. (Original) Rute an sich war wunderschön. ABER !!!!!! Typisch Touristen abzocke. Nirgendwo steht preis. 25 Euro fur einen Erwachsene. Gleich daneben andere Gesellschaft 9 Euro mit großen Preisschild. Leider haben wir das nicht gleich gesehen und fur 5 Personen 125 Euro bezahlt anstatt 45 Euro par Meter recht beim anderen Gesellschaft. 80 Euro unterscheid!!! Frechheit.

Décevant: au moment de réserver , on nous demande le choix de la langue, français pour nous. Aucune bande son en français et de toute façon le volume sonore de la bande dans les autres langues était trop faible , on n'entendait rien. Pas de commentaires sur les iles et leur histoire pour nous donc...
