Take a Regular Cruise, Skip the Pizza
We spent extra for the pizza and all you can drink. We didn’t drink alcohol, and the pizza from New York Pizza wasn’t very good. (Trust me, I’m from NY.) Those that did seemed more interested in that and talked too much while the recorded guide was talking. Couldn’t hear it well. We also wasted time going to pick up the pizza. Just find another cruise or do the Hop-on, Hop-off.

Decent tour of the archipelago
Boat was large and easy to move around. Enough seats for everyone as it was sunny. I found the audio not great as they focussed on the right side the whole time so unless you were there it was not great.

The island of Birka has such a long and powerful history from the Viking age. Rightly designated a UNESCO site the remains of the trading city from the 700 - 900 with it's wealth or graves and artefacts show how Viking society was structured beyond the warrior raiders that most people associate with them. The island provides a unique opportunity to experience Viking Life and to see why and how they built their fortified cities. Together with the 2 hour boat cruise from Central Stockholm it makes for a great day out.
