Trip Canceled
On arrival at the pier we were informed that the cruise was canceled because the ship was involved in an accident and that our money would be automatically refunded. I am now waiting for confirmation of the refund.

Great sight-seeing, but upper deck seats are only for the restaurant
Lovely calm 2.5 hr motor cruise, with moderately helpful narration (some gaps or unclear material). Travelers certainly get an in-depth view of the huge Stockholm archipelago. Note: the interior of the ship is substantially smaller than it appears from the outside. Since the vessel has two decks, we looked forward to sightseeing from the top deck, but alas, the upper floor is only just a small restaurant. If you are not purchasing a sit-down meal, you are relegated to a small wooden space on the first level deck. Arrive early and get in line for an optimal viewing seat. There are a snack bar and toilets on the first level deck.

Captain who acted as non-successful guide
We went on the boat trip at 16:15 on a Saturday. It was a nice route but the captain decided to be the guide as it was the last tour of the day. He provided a long line of non stop jokes. It was not funny at all, one example while passing by a graveyard he said ohh look at all the dead ladies walking around there, you can wave to them and then he was waving to some people at the shore and found it so funny. Another example - he talked about people drowning in the area and he then said that no one would even react if you cried for help. Then he started screaming HELP HELP while wavering to people at the shore and found it so funny that they waved back. This was non stop during the entire trip. I would have preferred either silence or a guide who could have actually told some of the interesting history of the city.
