Das war so schlecht,einfach unfassbar.Es wurde nichts erklärt,nur Musik auf dem Ohr.Grotten schlecht,dafür habe ich 1 Std Lebenszeit verschwendet.Absolut nicht zu empfehlen

We took a two and half hours cruise of the archipelagos, it was excellent. We did not book the trip in advance and the tickets were sold out, we managed to squeezed in and the staff were very helpful. The scenery along the way was beautiful. We enjoyed our cruising.

Tourist beware. They commonly overbook boats, and tell you to wait for the next one if you’re at the back of the line. Getting on that next boat or getting a refund will be a real challenge. But if you do get on the tour is pretty standard.

Very pleasant 90 minutes touring through the Helsinki archipelago.

Did the 2.5 hour tour. Sit downstairs on the right or left side by a window. The upstairs is small. Half the boat is an eatery. A guy will give you a plethora of info about the the Swedish archipelago. Don’t order the cinnamon bun. It’s dry. Def get a coffee though and cozy up. Great way to see the surrounding islands.

Very Interesting
If you’re expecting to see an intact Viking city, this is not possible because the buidkigs were largely wood and are long lost to time. Birka was one of the earliest Viking settlements and what you see on the tour are burial mounds of various types and ages and the city walls. There are also replica buildings and boats. What you do experience is a tour of Lake Mälaren for about two hours and a very interesting walking tour (some bits a bit steep) of the former city site on the island. There is a small museum and a decent cafe (we thought the food was quite good).

Lovely morning on the uncovered boat. Martin our host spoke excellent English and was very entertaining throughout the 1 hour cruise.
