Great place for kids. My child enjoyed running around and seeing all the tunnels. My only concern is the living conditions of some of the larger fish- some of the tanks seem quite small. It’s a little pricey but was fun to do once.

Not the biggest or the best aquarium I have seen but pretty nice for Detroit, MI (Auburn Hills, technically). Friendly staff. A good excursion for less than $20, plus, you can walk the Great Lakes Crossing mall, one of the largest and few healthy malls left in Michigan

Let me start by saying in the past I have had some pretty good experiences here. However my last experience was not the greatest. One we came with family from out of the area and were looking for a relaxing day. Unfortunately, we came at the same time as a huge school group. And they were OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD!!! It was bad enough that it was so crowded that we felt rushed because they were all over us. But the noise level in the tunnel was deafening. I understand having school groups come in is a privilege and I'm all for it. However, block some time out for them so that your other costumers can enjoy their experience, too. But that was not the most disappointing thing of our day... We did the virtual tour after our regular tour and every one of our goggles were calibrated wrong. And the lady would not fix them!!! My 5 year old didn't see the entire video because she didn't realize she needed to look behind her. My 8 year old and I spent the entire time turned around in the egg shaped chair stretching as far as we could. Multiple times I told the lady I couldn't see the word at the beginning of the video, but she started playing the video anyway and when I could see the clouds she said that was good enough, because it was "working". Extremely disappointed with this experience! And the lady was too busy to talk with us afterward because their was a line of people waiting and another worker was showing her things on the main monitor. It was beyond frustrating and did not make for the beautiful and relaxing experience we hoped for.

We chose to go to Sea Life Orlando because it was our sons 2nd birthday and it’s to hot to do much outside in July in Florida. The admission was part of our LEGOLAND passes so that was nice but so was the aquarium. It’s a great indoor space for kids. Our sons are 6, 4 and 2 and they enjoyed looking at all the sea life. We did pay for the feeding which was a little bit of a waste just because they have times so make sure your time isn’t in 2 or 3 hours. It is also kinda congested so you might not want your strollers, you’ll probably only be in there an hour tops 2.

It was okay. The staff were great, friendly all the way around but the cost is pretty steep for something that takes 45 minutes to go through. We spent all day at the zoo and spent less money. The zoo has a decent aquarium as well. Just disappointing to spend so much and be done so quickly.
