I've been to Sea Life several times now, and my daughter always has a blast. It's not a huge aquarium, so it can get a bit congested on the weekends. Definitely go on a weekday, if you can. Despite it's size, though, it has an immense variety of sea creatures and is very educational for curious kids. And if that doesn't cut it, there's always the playscape at the end before the gift shop lol.

I think it would be more fun for school aged kids because of several areas kids can crawl under and pop up to a viewing area under the tank and the touch area at the end. When we visited it was very crowded and difficult to maneuver with a stroller. It felt very much like a tourist trap. Upon entering everyone was waiting in line for a photo op they try to sell you at the end, didn’t feel optional but we asked to walk through. We thought we would be able to visit exhibits from a central area, but it was laid out like an ikea store so you just follow a path throughout. A lot of the tanks really don’t seem big enough for these creatures or for the amount being kept in the tank but with the walls maybe we just couldn’t view everything (hopefully). Being from so cal and growing up with really excellent aquariums, this visit was very underwhelming and we were in and out in under an hour.
