Im Paket mit dem Legoland habe ich Tickets für das Aquarium erworben. Vom Besuch im Aquarium bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Die Gründe: wenig bis keine Sachinformationen zu den Lebewesen in den verschiedenen Aquarien. Wie heißen die Tiere, wo leben sie, welcher Lebensraum? Künstliche Wasserwelten mit bunten Plastikpflanzen ohne Anspruch den natürlichen Lebensraum abzubilden. Ziel scheint der Gewinn zu sein und nicht die Bildung über die Meereswelt. Ich hatte wahrscheinlich falsche Erwartungen. Aber es nicht im Ansatz mit biologischen Aquarien wie z.B. in Monterey, Kalifornien vergleichbar. Die zwei Sterne gibt es für das freundliche Personal.

What an incredible experience! Our kids had a blast! So did we. We purchased tickets on line and showed up and got scanned in and walked right in. We had a stroller but opted to leave it in this handy little stroller holding area. We then walked right in. Immediately we took a family photo and even got souvenir coins. Then we walked in and our minds were blown for the next hour. There were sooo many beautiful fish everywhere and fun learning activities. The kids really had a blast observing all the incredible fish and sea life. They pointed out their favorite fish and learned about a bunch more. There was a staff member who was very knowledgeable about the starfish next to the tank where you could touch starfish! Overall 10/10 experience! The Virtual AR is highly recommended also! We do the shark tour and got to deep dive with some sharks! It was awesome! There’s so much beautiful and incredible sea life here. We can’t wait to go back!

So over crowded. They need to stager entrances. It was awful.

Our daughter had a field trip here on a Friday. Staff was great and everything ran smoothly. The one thing I would suggest is having a water fountain and bathroom close to the play area. We spent quite a bit of time there letting the kids play. They are little and dehydrate fast, so water would be helpful. A bathroom being closer would also help the teachers and parents, especially with a larger group. Aquarium was nice and maintained well we had a good time. Thank you!
