Take the time to head there early on weekends. Allows for good photos and light crowds.

Was very chaotic checking in, help was limited, the guy took my tickets, so I couldnt scan to get a pic. There was way too many people allowed at once. And the whole thing lasted 5 min, I could go to a zoo for cheaper than this place. Dont waste your time or money

Such a great place! Super hands on for the kids, lots of interactive activities and play areas. It is small, (but the largest in Michigan) and only takes about 20-30 minutes to go through. Definitely a fun little trip, tons of sharks/ rays/ turtles/ and obviously fish. Make sure to check out the rainforest cafe or other parts of this mall (Great Lakes Crossing) if you’d like to make a day out of it but you don’t need to!

We visited Sea Life during our vacation and it was one of our favorite activities. We had won tickets at a charity auction and didn’t read the fine print well. We were supposed to contact them in advance to get the tickets. We emailed and explained that we had messed up and received a response that same day with everything we needed for the tickets. We paid extra for the Turtle Experience and it was well worth the money. Chase led the tour and he was very knowledgeable. He mentioned it was his favorite tour to lead because it is the best “Behind the Scenes” one they offer. We got to watch them feed a turtle and was able to feed the fish. It was a 45-minute tour and even received a cool souvenir at the end

We loved the aquarium. It was setup for younger children, which is why came today.

TLDR: 10/10 would definitely go again and will probably get the membership. I was really impressed with how big of an aquarium it is for being in a mall. It actually seems comparable to the Seattle aquarium. This location was so kid and family friendly. We got the ranger mission pack for $7 for our 4 year old and he LOVED the trading cards and the sea creature information. He also absolutely loved the turtle adoption activity (even though some of the interactive machines didn't work. Maybe a staff presence would have helped). Walkways are wide enough for strollers, and there are kid sized viewing windows in a couple of the tanks. Plenty of different tanks including a pedestrian sea tunnel. Also a touch tide pool with starfish, shrimp, and sea urchins. The Animal Crossing event was okay. There's just pictures of game characters with Blather's explanations next to tanks, and a photo op with Tom Nook.

This was absolutely the worst aquarium I’ve ever been to. It’s very small, we got through it in under 15 minutes. Definitely not worth the money and overall a waste of money.
